Interview is officially set for September 8!!!! They said that we could have had an interview August 28, but I can't leave work until September 1. That still means, though, that I'll probably leave around September 3 or 4 and get to be with Lamine again!!!!    I can't believe I'm going to see that sweet face again!

That's great! Congrats! September 8 is just in 2.5 weeks!

Congrats Attaya ... you and Lamine are such a cute sweet couple ... we will be praying for you ... good luck on the interview soon !!!

Neil - I am jealous ... have a blast I am sure you both are excited to be with one another again !

Endoftheroad - Why does it take so long for clearance ? Is it because of the bulk of items being received there, or security type measures? I sure hope it clears for you two soon!

We received another touch today sometime while I was at work ... I wonder what it is this time ... not getting too excited anymore, everytime I get excited it is another update basically telling us "you will have to wait longer" ... or at least that is what my mind sees lol ... I am sure our NOA2 is coming soon, as I said before there is ABSOULTY no reason we shouldn't be approved. Just a little faith in the process/adjudiacators and a little more patience I guess ... my father told me " Son, you have been extremely impatient all your life, you have always got what you wanted when you wanted it, God is teaching you what it means to be patient for what is really worth waiting for. " He couldn't be more right.

Anyway Happy Friday everyone !

Thanks for the kind words, SS :)

Your dad seems like an incredible person. I'm not very patient either. I hope that you don't have to have your patience tested much more. The RFE should be it. I really hope that touch today was an approval :)

Thanks for all the encouragement, you guys :) I can't wait!!!!

My last post until sometime in early september, leaving at 5 am to go pick up my fiance from the airport and then too Vancouver for the interview we go.

I keep going over and over all of my stuff trying to make sure I'm not missing anything, I'm pretty sure that I'm good to go.

So excited, I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight, it probablly won't help that I've dranken at least 2 litres of diet coke today. :bonk:

Gratz Attaya and Neil on finding out your interview dates, lets hope we all get approved!!

Good luck to you April 09 filers to those who have your interview already. I am hoping and praying that I get my NOA2 next week. They seem to be approving NOA2's pretty fast right now. I hope to share some good news with all of you.

Your father is a wise man, and I think he is right. For good things to come in our life we have to wait for them.

The thing with Guangzhou, besides being so busy -- being in a communist country (which the USA denigrates) -- having so much fraud -- etc. -- is that they use the DHL center as a holding point and don't clear a package until they are ready to process it. It's like their warehouse. Other consulates have their own holding rooms.

So it is not really a security thing or amount of items. At least we know once it clears (if that is in fact our petition) that we will be close to finishing.

Thanks for the well wishes!

PS. I predict that touch was your NOA2

moving right along

Hi... We are still stuck as of 7:30. I'll be glad when it's over. It's hard to believe it will be over, but it will.

Good luck with your RFE response. I bet the touch is either the review of your file reconvening, or hopefully it's your NOA2. :star:
