Lisa, Allie, Ashenflowers--hope you all get out of NVC soon!

endoftheroad-I think you've mentioned once or twice that they tend to watch the purse strings :) I think it's cute.

I'm so anxious for the medical to be over!!! By 11:00 tomorrow morning, it will hopefully all be over. So.....only 15:28 minutes to go.

And........... a dozen holes in Lamine!!!!;)

HAHAHAHA!!!! Oh my goodness :D I wish I could see the look on his face when they tell him about ALL the shots. He'll laugh about it later, but that initial reaction would be priceless :)

I want a pic of my girls holding their arms and the look of agony after they get done with the shots... PRICELESS. :D Like Lamine, they are troopers who will do it but we all know how they truly feel (same as us) ............ W T F !!!!!!

I don't know why they bother asking about the vaccines if we don't really need to get them anyway right now... lol I just figure might as well get them out of the way, and I can't see them being cheaper in the US, for sure. I got the free ones, and was updated on all the others already... just trying to figure out this chicken pox thing. Who would've thought that I would actually wish I had the chicken pox.. lol I never did.

Attaya, I hope it all went well!! :) Hopefully all the shots won't leave much bruising or anything. lol

Good morning everyone!

I'm already ready for Friday. Couldn't sleep last night and running on about 3 hours of sleep. Lamine has 1 out of 4 of his appointments done. It went well and was really no big deal. He went to the place to get his chest x-ray and in true Senegalese fashion, they are closed from 12:30-3:00. The place where he has to get his blood work is the same thing. So, he will have been waiting about 3 hours. After that, he'll go back to the first doctor who will look over the results and give him his vaccinations and his paperwork for the embassy. I forgot about the break in the day for lunch. Good news is that they're open until six or seven, so he might be able to get it all done today.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Woo-hoo!!! Everything came back normal on Lamine's chest x-ray! I was worried about it because I asked him to stop smoking a couple months ago with this test in mind. He kept telling me that it wasn't a big deal, but he called me at three in the morning telling me that he was nervous that his smoking would affect the x-ray. :P No need to worry, I guess. He's getting the results of his blood work back tomorrow. Ugh. I feel like I'm sitting on pins and needles! I won't know anything until 11:00-noon tomorrow. I'm sure everything's fine--just want it to be official.

Thank you :) I am so so happy, can't wait to get the interview date! Although for us everything feels so sloowww, every day like a week. I understand how attaya_girl could not sleep. I'm getting more and more impatient as process goes on. Good thing I am visiting my fiance in 4 weeks :)

endoftheroad, are you still waiting for the consulate to process your petition? Your timeline is also moving quite nicely, and most important it is moving :)
