I typed out exactly what our RFE said in another thread .. I'll post it here as well so you all know what it looked like hehe .... it has be confused a little .. I can't tell if they are demanding imprinted photos of her and I or what .. I think or my gut feeling tells me they just want my passport showing the stamps ... but at this point I am a little gun shy and I just want this to be right before I send this back to them ...here is what the RFE said ...

Passport : The petitioner and the beneficiary must have met in person between April 30, 2007 and April 29, 2009. If the petitioner met with the beneficiary in a country other than the benefificiary's country of residence, then it must be shown that both the petitioner and the bene were visiting the same place at the same time. Please submist a copy of the petitioner's US passport, all pages ( with or without stamps ) including identification page.

Note: If there are no admission stamps in your passport, please submit the following 1) a copy of the petitioners US passport, all pages 2) indicate in a letter that no stamps were put into your passport, and 3) evidence of meeting your fiance within the two year period immediatly preceding the filing of this petition, other than what has orginally been submitted. Such evidence may include ATM and credit card transactions, flight itinerary on a airplane/travel agency letterhead only, hotel receipts, etc. The following DOES NOT constitute evidence of meeting: letters, phone bills, and greeting cards.

Meeting in Person : The petitioner and the beneficiary must have met in person within the 2 year period prior to filing of this petition. Please submit FILM DATED PHOTOGRAPHS of the petitioner and the beneficiary together. NOTE: USCIS will accept non dated photos if dated photos are not available. However, if no photos are available, please submit any evidence that will help USCIS to determine that the petitioner has physically met the beneficiary in person within two years.

Foreign Documents : Any document written in or containing another language other than English shall be submitted with a full English translation ( including any and all admission and departure stamps). The translator must certify that the translation is complete and accurate and that he or she is competent to translate.

PROVIDE FILM DATED PHOTOGRAPHS OF YOU AND YOUR FIANCEE WHEN LAST YOU MET.

SIGN THE ENCLOSED FORM G-325A

The decision of whether to approve or deny the petition will be based upon the type(s) of evidence sumitted and its credibility.

Thanks for the replys guys and gals ... I am thinking after reading your comments that its the passport stamps that they are really concerned about and the other stuff is just "if" you don't have the stamps ... appreciate the help and comments :)

I don't know if this helps. But, I submitted pictures of me and my fiance and I included a copy of my passport with the exit and entry stamps. This was adviced by my entry that they really want to see the copy of your passprot. I did not have dated pictures, and neither did I write anythng in the back. But, I included a copy of my itinerary. To also verify that I had traveled. I really think the RFE issue came up mostly because of not having a copy of the passport. But, still I don't understand why they want to see more pics if you have already submitted them. Anyways, this is a good sign that means your approval is following shortly. Good luck!

Hello everyone,

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend ...

Just a update on our RFE situation ... I received it in the mail today ..

They are asking for a photo copy of my passport ( Which was my guess ) and evidence of meeting in person within the past 2 years ... which I assume they are looking for the stamps in my passport. So that is great as I already have a extra copy made and ready here from when Jenelyn needed a copy for her CFO certificate .... I am thankful it is a easy quick fix and I hope the rest of our Journey goes quick and smooth now.

Thanks to all those who have left me a comment here or in private messages.... the support is amazing and we thank you all for that!

Great news! Well dont forget a picture or so!

I actually gave them 50 pictures of her and I and her family with the petition .. I am wondering if they got lost or separated from our petition or something ... I guess I am off to Walgreens now to print off some of those pics again to send in ... the bad thing is I forgot to put the setting on the camera when I was there to show the date correct .. but the RFE says they will accept non dated pictures so that is good. I think the entry/exit stamps from the Philippines is what they are really wanting.

Good! You've got something you can quickly turn around. :) Did you send itineraries/boarding pass copies? That'll put a date on things, too.

You're sending things back extra speedy/tracked, right? :)

Hey Ian and Lisa ,

Yup I added the boarding passes, hotel receipt, interneries again ... I included those with the original petition but I am wondering if part of my packet got lost or separated from my petition. Because in the RFE it also lists a section about pictures together .. but I think it refers to showing proof you met in person the past 2 years.

Anyway, I included boarding passes again, hotel receipt, intenery, and this time I also included a bank statement showing the ATM withdrawls I made there as well as the credit card statement paying the hotel stay. I also printed off another 10 pictures of her and I.

They also sent back 2 of the 4 G-325 papers I sent ... silly me forgot to sign 2 of them ... how the hell did I sign 2 and not the other 2 ... I must of really got side tracked or something that day I was working on the G-325 :bonk:

I will be making my way to fed ex this morning and over nighting the RFE ... with luck we will have a approval by the end of this next week or early the following week.

I sure hope you guys make it out of AP soon Ian and Lisa ... we will say a prayer for you guys!!

Thank you for that. :) It sounds like they are saying you and your SO met in another country, other than her country of residence. Is that the case?

... We're keeping it a secret from his family...

endoftheroad-how are your girls today?

Oooooooooo, I love the surprise idea!!! heehee

My girls are getting really weary of all the troubles they have to deal with on the home front. The faster the visa comes, the better so they can get away from the constant heavy pressure. My fiancee is suffering some stress related illnesses. I just want to hold her close and fight these battles with her.

... Our visa rep just submitted packet 3 last week... so we may find out the interview date in the next week or so...

That would be cool!

Our photos weren't dated either.

I followed my book about visas and wrote the when, who and where on the back of the picture.

I hope they notice it.

It's a new week!

Lamine's going to get his mecial tomorrow! Or at least part of it. Not sure how it is everywhere else, but it's three diffferent appointments in Senegal. Hopefully he can get them all done in the same day.

Also just checked my e-mail, and the conuslate responded saying that the waiting time is currently about 2 weeks-so a few days off from what is online. Hoping that a week from today or tomorrow, Lamine can schedule the interview.

Hoping everyone has a wonderful day and a better week than last week!

Question-I've come across some conflicting information on VJ about this-does a K-1 beneficiary need to get vaccinations prior to the interview/POE? Is it country specific? I wanted to give Lamine a warning before he goes in and has to get sixteen shots or something absurd like that.

-- Acellular pertussis

-- Hepatitis A

-- Hepatitis B

-- Human papillomavirus (HPV)

-- Influenza

-- Influenza type b (Hib)

-- Measles

-- Meningococcal

-- Mumps

-- Pneumococcal

-- Pertussis

-- Polio

-- Rotovirus

-- Tetanus and diphtheria toxoids

-- Varicella

-- Zoster

This is the list for Kenya/Nairobi consulate, I couldn't find the list for the Senegal consulate. I know in Canada you have to have them all at least started before the medical. But I really have no idea for Senegal, maybe when you're all done this you should update the Senegal Consulate information here on VJ.

This is what the senegal consulate website says : "These fees do not include the cost of the vaccinations, which will also be the responsibility of the applicants."

Which to me sounds as though they will provide th vaccines you'll just have to pay for them.

Good luck!

hahaha! Very nice! Poor guy's so nervous, it might not be a bad idea to keep that from him!

Thanks Jauque, for the information! I just did a search and saw that some people said that many countries don't require the vaccinations prior to POE-just prior to AOS. I guess if he can get them cheaper in Senegal, we might as well do that. I'll just have him tell the doctor to give him whatever he thinks he needs. :)

I cannot concentrate today. I'm so anxious for the medical! Also ,I think we're going to schedule the interview this Friday :) Then I'll be able to start the countdown!
