ashenflowers, about the address change: another option is to get the NVC case number as soon as they receive the petition and assign the number, and change the address with the consulate referencing that number. We are doing that, because I think the consulate is the one sending stuff, so better to contact them directly, IMO.

Our news: our petition left the NVC and on its way to the consulate (after one day!) !!!

K1:

NOA1: 04/06/2009

NOA2: 07/23/2009

POE: 10/25/2009

Marriage: 10/30/2009

AOS & EAD:

Date sent: 11/23/2009

AOS & EAD NOA1: 12/01/2009

Biometrics done: 12/24/2009

Received RFE for I-693, although we included I-693 with AOS.

Replied to RFE with full medical

EAD approved: 01/22/2010

AOS Interview scheduled: 03/08/2010 Approved couple of days later

Wow ... so much anxiety right now ... just got a touch literally sometime in the last 15 minutes ... I got home from work looked and it still said 5/05/09 .. just looked after taking a shower and was just updated with 8 / 10 /09 ..... wow I really hope the approval is on its way soon ..

I can't wait to join the happy train in this thread ...

CONGRATS ALLIE ... I know you been stressing and worrying like myself and Jenelyn so it is awesome to hear you got the NOA2!!

So does mine and it has left NVC already! Call USCIS tomorrow (as if you are changing your address) and ask what day your petition was approved.

Yes, I phoned them today, and made it like a address change and they didnt have any status except whats online which is pending, blah blah blah, then I come home and in the mail today was our NOA2 I had that feeling!!! The notice date was set for the 5th, last Wednesday which was the touch, sooo that HAD to be the approval like was mentioned.............I tried to phone Nigel a bazillion times but he's sleepin and is on 12 hour shifts so I SPOSE i'll let it slide for now...lol. Phoned mom and everyone else however..............lol. Maybe there will be a November wedding...sure hope so! I'm not wasting no more time!! hehe.

SS-you're NOA2 is on its way! :thumbs:

Lisa-I'll cross my fingers and send all my happy thoughts towards your petition and hope that it gets sent to the consulate soon.

I just tracked my petition, and it looks like it got to Dakar this evening, so I'm guessing the embassy will receive it tomorrow. All the other petitions that left the same day have already arrived at their consulates--all but those from Africa and one from Cuba :) Oh well. My boss just told me today that there's no way they can spare me until the first week of September--which will probably end up timing about right. If we get our ducks in a row, that is. Here's hoping!

Congratulations to everyone's touches, NOA2's, and interview dates!
