I'm looking into finding a nice chinese dress to wear after the wedding for dinner.

One of the long ones, if possible.

I don't think red though, since red really isn't my colour.

And I'm not wearing a veil, I think they're tacky. I'm getting flowers put in my hair :P

Flowers that is so much better. That will look so pretty. Go for it :)

Cool! Thanks I am definitely thinking about that one.

Just one man's opinion, veils are cool for the wedding garb.

Gold, eh.

I can't pull of gold either.

I had gold earrings once and they were hideous on me.

I'm an extremely pale white person

I don't like gold. I know coming from my background that should be a surprise. I prefer white gold. I usally choose silver or white gold. I don't like the gold because I feel like it looks too yellow on my skin. But, that is my opinion. If I have to wear gold I would wear more of the matte finish.

Senegalese food has a lot of rice and fish/chicken/beef, etc. The preparation takes about 4 hours, but it's soooo worth it!

They sometimes use utensils (often the guests and a few men will have a spoon), but not as a rule. I LOVE eating with my hands, though. Although, I never really mastered the technique-I always ended up getting food all over the place

That's fun that you're having a small restaurant do the catering.....I'm sooooo hungry! I should not have started this topic.

I read your going to visit your fiance during Ramadan time. That is the most beautiful time to go. I celebrate that month here to in US, but it is not as festive as it is in India. The best part is they have this big religious holiday after that. Everybody gets dressed up and you get money and gifts.

I know! I'm really excited to be going back in this time. I was there during Ramadan with my fiance last year when we were just starting to date (about a month into our relationship), so it'll be really special. I hope I get to be there for the end-they call it Tabaski in Senegal. It was so much fun! The streets were filled with music and people were dancing and the markets filled up again---so wonderful. And the food! So amazing.

Allie---you're NOA2 is on its way!!! I didn't get any e-mail notification or touches before I got mine. You may have already been approved and the hardcopy may not have reached you quite yet :)

I'm hoping mine will be soon............its ####### that people with the same timelines get approved and i'm sitting here! We didnt have anything too complicated and I'm sure I put what I needed in there! Even a flipping RFE would be nice then I can just fix it or just approve me already! Not telling Nigel about all these approvals, it would just make him more antsy ...........ahh well...thats the rant of the day..........hope everyone's day is going well!
