Hey everyone,

I got a quick question I am planning on going back to the Phils for Elenas' interview and was wondering if they still allow you to pick the visa up at the consulate? I will only have 2 weeks and we would like to travel back together if at all possible and chancing getting it via air21 is not my hopes.

I know i'm gonna end up coming back alone and she will have to travel by herself and this thought is just no fun for us.

Thanks

Timeline
Visa Delivery

The issued visa will be delivered to the applicant's designated address by Air 21 (the Embassy's authorized courier service provider) within 7 to 10 working days. The visa delivery fee, which is determined by the courier service, is paid by the applicant. This fee to the courier service is separate from any fees paid to the U.S. Government. Applicants do not need return to the Embassy to pick up their issued visas.

You may direct visa delivery inquiries to Air21 U.S. Embassy service hotline at 879-4747 or to the U.S. Embassy page at the Air21 website

YES YOU CAN ATTEND AT THE INTERVIEW OF YOUR FIANCE' AND AFTER THE INTERVIEW YOU ASK FIRST THE CONSUL IF YOU GUYS WERE APPROVED...IF CONSUL SAID YES, TELL THE CONSUL RIGHT AWAY OF WHEN IS YOUR RETURN FLIGHT SO THAT YOU GUYS CAN BOOK TICKET....

MY FIANCE' WERE PRESENT DURING MY INTERVIEW, WE DID ASK OUR CO RIGHT AFTER THE INTERVIEW IF WE PASSED...OUR CO SAID YES AND TOLD OUR CO RIGHT THEN OF OUR FLIGHT SCHEDULE.....SO I GUESS, YOU CAN DO SAME THING...DON'T FEEL INTIMIDATE....THERE IS FREEDOM OF SPEECH IN PHILIPPINES, JUST LIKE AMERICA!:-)

GOODLUCK!

PS: YES THEY ALLOW PICK-UP VISA..JUST ADVISE YOUR CONSUL RIGHT AWAY AFTER THE INTERVIEW!
