thats how u can check ur embassy recieved the packet ,which left NVC

here is how it's done!!

1. Go to: http://track.dhl-usa.com/TrackByRef.asp?nav=TrackByRef

2. In Reference, enter as follows:

EXP DD MMM YYYYA

EXP is fixed ,just write EXP in place of EXP

DD is the date before the day the NVC said they shipped the case.

MMM is the month, NVC sent the case

YYYY is the year the NVC sent the case

A is unchanged

For example, if the NVC says they sent the case on MARCH 15 2009, fill the info like "EXP 15 MAR 2009A"

3. Date range for shipment - From: Enter the date of the day NVC said they sent the case

4. Date range for shipment - To: Enter todays date

5. Keep the rest of the fields blank

7. Once you enter the info, press "Track"

8. After a while you will see a list of all of the packages that left the NVC today. You need to find ur XYZ consulate?

When you find the shipment the corresponds to your consulate, you will see the tracking number that you can record.

10. You can then track the shipment from the NVC to your XYZ Consulate"

This is a very satisfying exercise for the utterly obsessed. A package left the NVC for Casablanca half an hour ago. Could it be ours?? Most likely not, but it's a sweet thought ...

Wow, that's very helpful, saw my case was delivered to embassy on 4/19. Where else but VJ can you learn these tricks.

If the NVC AVR says that your case was forwarded to your consulate on XYZ date... then you can know that that is approximately your case.... if its not saying any of the following i dont think your case was sent yet. good luck to all
