It seems to be taking a week to ten days to get a case number and about that much longer to get the first email. Call them and talk to a human. They'll ask for email addresses for both petitioner and beneficiary.

So, if I give them the email addresses, they wont send anything in the mail? And if they do, do I have to send back the hardcopy of the DS-3032

as well as the email I sent?

Am still waiting same as you. Do they take the e-mail adress before receiving the case, I thought this was provided after we get the case#

WOW 13 days, I think thats a record. Then again CSC has always been faster then VSC. First the case has to be sent to nvc and entered into there system. Then a case number will be assigned to it with the first three letter representing the respective embassy the visa interview will take place at. This is usually done the first or second day after the case has reached nvc. Then you can provide nvc with your email. Do email ds3032 to them after it has been generated not before, you will get a response usually withing 7-10 days if it has been accepted. Good luck.

I got my I 130 and I 129f approval (notice date mar 16TH)the same day but the NVC has not received it yet.I spoke to an operator and she said it may take upto 90 days.She says once they get it, I have to send it in writing to NVC if I wish to cancel K3 and proceed with I 130.

My husband tried to get Police clearance from the local police station and they want to see the consulate letter.Do I have to wait till I get packet 3 for PCC.Actually PCC procedure is long so I thought to start now.Is there any time limit to submit PCC once we get Packet3.

Exactly the same for me and they told me the same thing, does that mean they are not going to touch it until the k3 is finished at the embassy. I would prefer the I-130 but wonder how much longer that will take and as NVC and Embassy both need original documents I dont know whether to wait or go ahead with the K3.

Congrats to all! I dont know the answer about the PCC, but inreference to giving our email addresses. We have to wait until the NVC receives our cases then provide the email addressed for the petioner and beneficiary.

We got our case number after 14 days from NOA2 date..

I just tried to call the AVR and they gave me the case number...

Have you received confirmation that NVC has received your case? It has taken some folks 2-3 weeks for NVC to recieve cases from the service centers and get them input into the system. With the service centers approving at a much rapid pace, its taking NVC longer to run through their process.

Not sure who you are referring to but I called today and spokr to a representative and they pulled my case based on the NVC# given to me by the automated message. She then asked me if I wanted to give her my e-mail; so yes my case is there. 9 days after approval.
