Thanks, I had a look at that link. I am confused about 1 thing. Do you physically have to be there when your items cross? It says on that site, that if you cannot attend, you may designate a friend or relative. But isn't the freight company good enough? I'm sure stuff gets shipped all the time? as long as they have all your documentation, visa, and 3299 inventory etc?

Have a look at the 3299 - it's a form for 'unaccompanied' items :lol:

I had a quick glance at the form... I know what it's for, and I know it's for stuff not crossing with you, but at a later time... where I was confused was on the Customs info site, they state that you can designate a friend or relative...that is where I got confused... I thought that maybe someone had to be there to vouch for the stuff...

LOL... designating a friend/family member, that's what we'll be doing since my mom, dad, and I will be driving his stuff over the border in three vehicles (of which only one vehicle is his).

10/1/11 - NOA1 arrived in mail

3/19/12 - RFE

5/3/12 - RoC APPROVED!!!

ahhh I see what you mean.
