It has been 5 weeks since I got all 3 NOAs and I have still not received my Biometrics appointment letter.. and I cant see my case status online either.

I called the Customer Service a couple of weeks ago and they sent me back an useless email saying that they are unable to determine when I should get my biometrics appointment letter. So I finally made an infopass appointment with the Houston office and went there yesterday. The officer who I spoke with was very unfriendly and told me that I had to wait for my appointment letter. She flat out denied that I can make a service request if I dont hear about my Biometrics appointment within 45 days.. She said something like "Where does it say that we have to respond within 45 days??? No where!!!" I then told her that I had trouble receiving mail at my address and to check and see if my appointment letter was returned back to their office. She made some calls and checked her computer and told me that my file was entered into their system and everything seems ok but I just hadnt been pulled out of the list for an appointment.

I then asked her how much longer should I wait and she said "I dont know.. I cant tell you that"... I rephrased my question and asked her again "So if I dont hear anything for the next month, should I come back??" and she said "No, you should just wait.."

I am frustrated with USCIS right now!!! What should I do next? Should I contact my congressman? Ideas anyone?

Average time between NOA1 and biometrics is (right now) running at 30 days - you're NOA dates are right-at/just-over that - an average time is just that - an average (meaning some longer, some shorter).

From what I can see, you're pretty much on target and am not sure I'd do anything at this point.

hello everyone... i have the same case as nina except that my application was received early this month.

my AOS application was received on March 8.

the NOA notice was sent on March 13, and I received the letters on March 19.

until now, I am still waiting for my Biometrics appointment :'( I am worried that the letter might come in late and i might miss the schedule... any advice?

most of the people i know here have been scheduled to have the biometrics this week, and they submitted their application a week after I did :(
