my husband is receiving a monthly pension, he doesnt have tax returns since his pension is non taxable. although his pension is more than enough to meet the poverty guidelines but im just worried they might give me a hard time during the interview. does anyone have any idea about this or has anyone experienced this ? i hope this wont be a problem since ive been delayed too much already.

income is income... taxable and non-taxable... as long as it can be demonstrated

YMMV

Hey,

I don't know the answer to this question but i don't see why they would give him a hard time. It is after all income and as long as he is above the poverty guidelines, i don't see why it would be a problem but maybe someone on this site knows about this. :star:

thanks MrsRowe, so good to hear from you. he is actually on disabilty pension and from the research ive made, it is exempted from taxes. however, i just wanted to be sure they wont give me a hard time during the interview, this whole process is making me paranoid

i do have print outs of his bank account where it shows the pension being credited every month so i guess it can be demonstrated. thanks payxibka for the fast reply.
