Question about visa on UK passport

The passport/visa and mysterious brown envelope were just delivered. Everything seems to be in order but I just have one question.

On the visa affixed to the passport, in the upper right-hand corner, the IV Case Number is listed and appears correct except for 2 additional trailing numbers at the end. Is this normal for an immigrant visa?

Usually, the case number is of the form 'LND' followed by 10 numbers where the first 4 are the year it was opened and the next 6 are random digits. So as an example, our case number was LND2009xxxxxx where each x represents a number.

In the visa we just received, however, it's correct for the first 10 digits after LND but then it also has a 01 at the end, so it's LND2009xxxxxx01.

Is this normal or a problem that should be raised with the Embassy?

I had a different control number from my LND number but it does end 01

It says "control number" and is not the same as the LND case number on Nick's.

Thanks guys. I just found out that this is indeed normal.

Also just to specify that this was for a CR1 visa via DCF, hence why it's a bit different and doesn't say 'control number'.
