Hi, a stupid question not related to immigration.

When I log in to VJ from home and click on a topic, the screen shows me only the first posting, and below that is a timeline tree with the rest of the postings. I have to click on each branch of the tree to view each posting, which is very annoying since the tree is not synchronized chronologically.

I did not have this problem when I first used to login from home, must have changed something in the settings to make the timeline tree appear. I do not have the same problem at my work comp when I login to VJ, there is no time line tree and each posting appears from top to bottom, earliest to latest, jsut the way I want to see it.

Anyone know how I can get rid of this dang timeline tree?

Not sure if I am understanding your issue correctly, but here is something you can try..

At the top of the thread, click on little downward-arrow besides Option (Option is located next to Add To Watch List). When you click on arrow, you'll see menu with selections like Display Modes. Make sure you've Standard highlighted/selected. See if this helps...

Hi champi,

I think you are right, I probably have it on Outline at home and need to switch it to Standard, that's what it looks like after playing around with my work comp. Will try it on my home comp after work. Thanks for your help!

First I would like to say I love the support I have seen in this thread :luv: Good things indeed do come to good people. Congrats to AMANDA, PRINCESS, and the rest of u who got case completes!:star::dance::star: Soooooo exciting! I could relate to everything u said and wrote in this thread. It's like u were talking abt me and my hubby's feelings and emotions! Inshallah we will get the good news soon too. But judging from ur posts, we are still another week or so away since we haven't even been transfered to final review as yet :crying: But gotta keep the faith. We are so close and I know the magic case complete is just around the corner (just wish the distance to the corner was a lot shorter :innocent::whistle:)

P.S. And ooh Princess thanks for ur PM :P

New week New hope :star:

I second that Princess. I have had a crappy attitude the past few weeks and I think its high time I start having a better outlook. We are so close...and i thank God for that. At least we are not still stuck at USCIS waiting for an NOA2!! So I pray this week brings us all case complete & interview dates...or whatever it is you are waiting for...inshallah!

Amanda

amanda i just talked to an operator, still the same thing "your case has been transfered to a supervisor give us 10-15 days to complete it"

this is unfair , i feel down :crying:

Same here Princess...I called and they told me the same thing. 10-15 business days. They told me to call back Wednesday or Thursday. :crying: Seriously...nothing is missing on our case...just complete it and give us an interview date for crying out loud!!!!

Amanda

Thats the way i feel!

:clock::cry::ranting::girlwerewolf2xn: This is causing me to go through a friggin breakdown everyday!!!

i can't stand waiting any more, i really feel bad, my nerves are shot, i thought that getting an approval from USCIS was the hardest part of this process but NVC is more complicated and waiting is hard....i'll call them again at the end of the day, i can't wait until tomorrow, how about u amanda?

Good morning all...I hope today brings good news to all that are waiting. I am praying for our interview to be scheduled!

Princess...don't worry, you will do just fine. My husband went ahead and completed his a couple of weeks ago since it is good for a year and he had no issues. He got the needed vaccine and completed the x-ray & exam (on a Thursday) and they told him to come back Sunday to pick up the results. He went Sunday and they said everything was fine & gave him all the necessary paperwork. So don't stress, only one more step to go and you will be done. It's all downhill from here!

I'm fighting the urge to call an operator at NVC this morning to see if they have scheduled our interview yet. I hope to get the same blessing as Princess...interview scheduled the day after case complete. I told myself I would wait until this afternoon...we'll see how long I can hold out.

So something funny....The AVR at NVC said this morning that our case has been completed. Then it says "please wait 8 weeks for further instruction. If you have not heard anything after 8 weeks please call us back." Ok...so who in the heck would wait 8 weeks with no word from NVC to finally call them back? This is my life I am waiting on here, not like a friggin pair of pants I ordered online or something!!! I can barely wait 8 HOURS without word to call them back. I just thought that was kind of funny...8 weeks
