I second that Princess. I have had a crappy attitude the past few weeks and I think its high time I start having a better outlook. We are so close...and i thank God for that. At least we are not still stuck at USCIS waiting for an NOA2!! So I pray this week brings us all case complete & interview dates...or whatever it is you are waiting for...inshallah!

Hi everyone! Just to share some info with you. My husband called to NVC today and asked for the interview dates. NVC told him that they are scheduling this week for the May interviews. So we can call them again next week. So let's keep our thumbs up! Otherwise next interview scheduling is on the second week of May..

Well, for those of you still waiting, I see most had their case uploaded around end of March, and some had issues with their IV payments. I would say you should all get your case complete by Friday, April 10, the latest assuming no RFE's. NVC usually updates most cases on Fridays, but hopefully many of you will hear something sooner (actually, April 10 is holiday, so April 9 may see alot of case complete). I know the wait is difficult, went through it myself two weeks ago, longest 10 days of my life. But the jubilation when it's over is definitely worth it.

Also heard a rumor, though not sure if it's true, that once NVC has met the interview quotas for certain embassies, they stop completing cases for those embassies until the interviews are scheduled, then they start completing cases again for interviews for the next available month. Basically, they want to avoid more people with case complete than interview spots available, so they don't get ambushed by hundreds of angry phone calls from people with case complete but have to wait an additional 1-2 months for interviews. Again, just a rumor.

I am a little confused about the interview scheduling for those that are done with NVC and are awaiting May interviews. Some have posted that NVC will schedule May interviews between April 6-10, and others say April 13-17. So which is it? I was hoping for something this week, but is it better not to get my hopes up until next week?

You know every time I call NVC I get something different. I was fussing with a supervisor on Friday & I told him I didn't want to miss the interview window...which I though they would be scheduling this week. He told me they won't be scheduling until next week (April 13-17) because last week wasn't the first FULL week of April. But I saw someone post that they were scheduling this week...so I am super confused. I am getting pretty upset with this whole thing.
