I thought interview scheduling was closed. I e-mailed the embassy in Amman & they said that they haven't received May files yet...whatever that means. They said they were scheduling for May....so now I am super confused. NVC told me Monday that May scheduling was closed...so what is it???

:wacko: that's confusing, why don't you call NVC and tell them that you contacted the embassy and they said they have available appointements for may, ask to talk to supervisor...try maybe it will work, good luck

I thought interview scheduling was closed. I e-mailed the embassy in Amman & they said that they haven't received May files yet...whatever that means. They said they were scheduling for May....so now I am super confused. NVC told me Monday that May scheduling was closed...so what is it???

From what I understand, each embassy gives NVC a number of slots for interviews and NVC fills them out. NVC probably filled up all the slots but haven't sent the final schedule list to embassy?. Could be open slots at embassy allocated for other local things like DFCs, Visitor Visas, etc which they are still scheduling for May? I don't know, just a wild guess...

You do need to talk to both embassy to find out what type of interviews are they scheduling for May as well as talk to NVC to find out why they can't put you in one of the open slots of May.

I'm in the same boat as you except i'm a little more upset at this scheduling process. My case was complete on Apr 6 and the Thai embassy updated thier website on 10 Apr. I also did not get an interview in may. I can't understand why, Not all of the work days have interviews scheduled. I don't see why they cant find an empty day and fill it.

Amanda, it's best to ask the consulate in Amman if they can help you. Maybe they need to contact the NVC to let them know they have open slots. Not sure if it will work, but u can always try I guess.

I think it all depends on ur consulate. But it doesn't hurt to get it ready since we have plenty of time waiting. Plus you might need it again down the road when u lift the conditions b4 the 2 yrs expire on ur green card. You can also check with the consulate, they would know what's required. Just a thought :star: Hope this helps!

I think it all depends on ur consulate. But it doesn't hurt to get it ready since we have plenty of time waiting. Plus you might need it again down the road when u lift the conditions b4 the 2 yrs expire on ur green card. You can also check with the consulate, they would know what's required. Just a thought :star: Hope this helps!

i guess it`s needed because in that package 3 have a list for where your petitioner get the medical examination and the package 4 it have your petitioner interview letter and what supposed the petitioner have for the interview there`s some basics like ( marriage certificate ,birth certificate, and if you or your petitioner got divorced have to have this certificate too + some evidence for ongoing relationship )
