I'm glad I could provide a little humor for some of you today. You are so right...we need to laugh a little and atempt to distract ourselves at least slightly so we don't go insane. I know that they HAVE to say the usual 6-8 weeks #######, but it really gets old quick. If they would just be straightforward with us and be sure in what they are saying (not having half of their employees saying interviews are being scheduled this week and the other half saying next week) we wouldn't have to call 8 million times a day to get correct information. I know everything will be okay and I am glad that I have a lot of people here at VJ I can talk to that can identify with me. A lot of people ask me when my husband is coming and I say I don't know...we are still waiting and this total process could take 6-12 months, they are like awwwwwwwwwww that sucks, then go about their business. But we are the ones that have to worry about it, think about it, stress about it 24/7 for those 6+ months, not them. So it is good to have people to talk to that know what I mean!!!

Amanda

you describing it same as my wife telling me when she getting that question at work , i guess am famous over there right now from what am getting through my wife , do you think it would help if am running for president lol :goofy::content: and don`t worry i will make VJ my official website :D

BTW :" same answer from NVC "

Just got my interview letter at 8:20 pm tonight for May 18,:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance: so awesome!!

Posted another thread about it, it's gona be a great long weekend!! Looks like NVC is scheduling interviews this week and some of next week as well. So for all waiting for interviews, keep hope alive & expect good news tomorrow or early next week.

Thank you all on this thread, it's been very informative and helped me survive through this painful wait. Now I just need to make it to May 18 and will join my wife again after 1 year, working on minimizing body fat and grey hairs until then :D

AWESOME HSB!!!:thumbs::dance::thumbs: I believe u r right. I think they are scheduling this week and next week which would explain why the operators are divided in giving us the confusing answer....I am counting on next week. I doubt anything is gonna come out from them today. I would be perfectly happy to have a wrap at NVC mid way next week at the latest!! Hope we are next with no stupid RFEs... But I don't want to rain on ur parade. CONGRATS ONCE AGAIN...now the countdown begins! Enjoy ur weekend! :)

P.S. Grey hair and body fat

Just called NVC again...no interview date yet. Someone else that got case complete yesterday (like me) from Jordan got their interview date today for May 20th. How do they decide the order? I am so heartbroken right now...can't stop crying about it. :crying::cry:

keep hope amanda, as long as they didn't stop scheduling appointements for your consulate then you have high chances to get an interview date for may :star:

Congrats to all those who got interviews scheduled so far.

I got a very rude operator this morning who was like "you just got your case completed on Wednesday there is now way you will get a May interview." She was seriously rude. I called back and spoke with a supervisor and she explained about how they schedule interviews, when they schedule. Basically she told me that I could possibly get an interview in May, but maybe not. She said be patient and wait....duh!! I'm going to be strong and wait it out. Only God can take care of our case, no one else. So hopefully we will hear something soon.

No th3mo, her name was Rene...and I am definitely going send an e-mail complaint to the supervisor they told me to send a complaint to. That was totally unecessary.

Still waiting...here's hope for next week. :)

You have to look at it from thier side. They probably get thousands of calls every day. Out of those calls how many do you think are the kind of call where the operator is getting yelled at by a mad person because the parerwork is still at NVC. I would be a little pissy to and i'm probably sure you would be also. Walk a mile in another person's shoes and your feet will be killing you.

I'll agree with you that walking in another person's shoes will definitely give us a rational behind their behavior. However, it does not mean their behavior is appropriate. Dealing with rude customer comes as part of their job description... wouldn't you agree.
