Despite whether or not she "made a mistake" I dont think it is fair for the responses to be so harsh. (F)

She may not have put herself in the best position but it is a reality that she now must face.

I hope that GOD give her the strength and guidance to make it through this difficult time

and that her SO is respectable and true.

Very well said Sandrila ! I wish u the best of luck .

It's definately different.

Hey, OP, sorry about the beating you've taken. My advice is to read, read, then read some more. As much as we'd like to think so, our situations really aren't all that special and the chances are someone has already gone through a similar situation.

Note: Ignore the honor killing reference. That's not going to happen.

Let's face it, most of us would wince if a friend in the states slept with a man she'd never seen before and got pregnant before they really knew each other well. Love may feel good, but it's not enough to sustain a budding relationship through pregnancy, separation and developing a rapport. The kind of advice we would give our friend going thru this would not be "well, they do it in Morocco, too, but just hide it better." That's not the point. There are red flags involved. Some of us ignored them, some pointed them out. I'll be darned if I'm going to feel bad about pointing them out. I'm not an enabler. The enablers can do that just fine.

Well, since you want shame but --- hey, shame doesn't work.

Funny that you have funny feelings about...love, etc.

I just hope that shame kept you from ###### your obviously older mate? for how many years?

That made no sense.

I have long accepted that for many of you on this board, sexual impulsivity, adultery, poor judgement, poor planning, culture bashing, and high dramatics are just elements of a valid life-style choice that deserves celebration, support and defense against anyone who would DARE to be critical of it. I don't buy that BS, and am not afraid to say what needs to be said.

Some of you clearly enjoy the exhileration it brings to MENA. I don't, and since, for as long as I have a first amendment right to free speech, I will exercise it. There is judgementalism on BOTH sides of this argument, only your side isn't ready to admit you judge people who believe in social decorum as harshly as we condemn the "if it feels good, do it" view of personal conduct. The ignore button is at your disposal, as Olivia said. If my words bother you so much, use it.

How about you take some of that time you use to formulate the garbage you vomit, and use it to learn to spell? Adultary? Instead of throwing stones at others for it, why don't you learn to spell it? Adultery!!!

Here's a link to a spelling page. How about you use it?

The correction was made. If that is all the argument you have, your point is garbage.

Some of you are pointless, period.

And, your point, besides being harshly critical and rude? What would that be? If you feel that something "needs to be said", you should learn some "decorum" and express yourself tactfully and peacefully. That would probably help. And, it would be in keeping with the spirit of Islam, no?

You have been rude to me, no? Fighting fire with fire is a long accepted and useful tactic. I have never claimed to be always polite and decoruous. I took up the duty of being brazen and out front long ago. Barza woman is the title I took because it reflects that choice. Our Prophet fought battle against enemies, killed people to stake a claim for Islam. Several woman fought with him. We are advised in the Quran that defending our values is a righteous act and more rewarding than sitting in comfort to not offend anyone. Islam can be sweet, but it can also be fierce. It is not about enabling or appeasing haram acts. We can have the soft caliphs, but they also need the enforcer caliphs behind them. I have chosen to be one who does not live in comfort. I am a warrior woman when needed. Get used to it and learn more about Islam besides the fantasy.

Have a good day.
