You can certainly get your vaccinations in order.

You might have some difficulty booking your medical without knowing your case number (which will be on your NOA2), but I'm not sure how things are done in the Philippines.

I dont think its possible to have a medical without the NOA2 but you can try. As to payment, maybe its better if you wait until you have the NOA2. Just be patient girl, you'll be approved soon.

and also, i wont encourage you to have an advance vaccinations because i think its included already in what you will be paying for your medical at St Luke.

I have almost the same question, but different senario... We have our NOA2, and as of today, March 30 NVC forwarded the case to USEM. My question is... Can we have the medical done with the MNL#### and the NOA2 in hand... or do we have to wait for USEM to send instructions to my wife..... before she goes for her Medical....????

As far as I know, once you have MNL # you can schedule interview at the embassy...SO with your case you can have your medical at SLEC.....

Medical exam at SLEC is first come first save basis...you can go there anytime as walk-in applicant. You can print out your NOA2 if you do not have the copy yet and just write on top of the page the case # you got from NVC. Have copies of your passport for they take it from you and they will be the one to forward it to the embassy, and 3 pieces 2x2 pics. The result is valid only for 3 months (as what i have heard), so it wouldn't be practical if you proceed to the clinic having nothing. But it won't hurt you if you try though.

Just to confirm... NVC just sent the case to USEM Manila March 30.... So meaning it's on it's way... USEM will not receive it till the 2nd week of April, due to the holiday.... (Mahal na Araw)... Or probably receive it before the 2nd week, but it might not be in the system yet... Can she go for her medical, even the case is still not in USEM's system yet. ... (take note we have the noa2 and mnl#) ... nasa byahe pa lang ang documents thru DHL,,, kaka padala pa lang ng NVC e..

I was reading USEM site and i quote

"What should I bring to my medical examination?

APPOINTMENT LETTER sent by the National Visa Center or an e-mail print out of your appointment sent by the Call Center or the appointment date shown on our website (http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3238.htm) "

What appointment letter are they referring to? I thought I can just bring our NOA2 copy (can be the scanned one?) plus the NVC number (plan on calling earlier to get the number), copy of passport, pics....

oh, by the way, how early can I call NVC to get our MNL# after receing NOA2 hardcopy?

thanks all!!!!
