VJ Members,

Does anyone have a view on submitting additional information, say photos in anticipation of an RFE? I am thinking, perhaps paranoid, that I might get an RFE and would like to pre-empt with additional information. Anyone has any thoughts, experience with this. I am trying to figure out the upside/downside, there does not seem to be a specific prohibition on this in the I-130/I-129F instructions.

Thanks in advance!

I know what you mean exactly, I sent a copy of our marriage cert, I needed to send copy of the registured copy. SO I wrote a short letter, enclosed a copy of the the NOA 1 and the regisured copy of our marriage cert. and mailed to CSC. I'm hoping it will stop a RFE. I dont even know if they opened the envelope yet.

I gave it a shot, and will have to wait and see. I did not see what it could hurt.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

Thank you Paris for the quick response. Helps to know someone else is thinking along the same lines.

No problem, maybe you wont even need to send, all they truly want to see if a marriage cert and other things of a bona fide marriage. Many have got approvals with a lot less. Its so easy to forget something in the packet, its nerve wracking. GOOD LUCK.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.
