How long does it usually take for the k1 package to arrive to Manila USEM from NVC. It has been 15 days since NVC told me they had sent it out and they even gave me a MNL case#. So i sent my fiancee' to the USEM to get a letter to request a police certificate letter to give to the Japanese Embassy. They told her that they havent received it yet. I thought the NVC also sends a electronic notification to USEM. How come they have no record if they do? Should i be worried about the location of my package?

It would take 3 days from NVC to Manila Via DHL. Another 3 days, usually before it (NVC case #) would be visible in USEM's system but it would take them weeks to upload all the information in their system. If the whole file hasn't been uploaded yet then you cannot do anything. You cannot even set up an appointment date.

You might want to call DOS to check..1 202 663 1225 press 1 then 0..

I promise to love you in good times and in bad, with all I have to give and all that I am, in the only way I know how -- completely and forever......

when NVC says that the package has been forwarded to the embassy doesn't necessarily mean it has left for the embassy. It means it has been cleared for shipment and they do mailings in batches so it may have actually left NVC at a later date.
