This time we really need your prayers and thoughts for our Bruno.

We had to rush him to the emergency animal hospital this morning, we thought he'd bloated (when the stomach flips over...like Marley in the movie).

They immediately took him to x-ray and it was not bloat. So we had to leave him there for a battery of tests. This afternoon they called and said they can't figure it out, they'd have to do an ultra-sound. Then they called back and said the ultra-sound showed fluids and gasses in his abdomen, so they will have to open him up to see what's going on.

He has a perforated ulcer in the duodenum and they had to leave his abdomen open to drain. The surgeon says that survival from this sort of thing is about 25%. But he is "optimistic, and Bruno may just surprise us".

My poor bubba Bruno might die Candles, prayers, healing thoughts, whatever you've got would be much appreciated. I hope he makes it through the night. They said we can't see him until tomorrow afternoon.

We're all a mess. He's my big baby and I miss him when he's not home.

I certainly will pray for your beloved Bruno. You can be assured of that.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Aww Reba, I am so sorry to hear about Bruno. We will definitely put him in our healing circle for our meditation group and send him lots of healing thoughts and prayers. I hope he is one of the success stories and pulls through with flying colours.
