Interview is AFTER APRIL 15th (AKA Tax Season)

We have 2005, 2006, 2007, as well as bank statements, a letter form his bank, a letter form his employer, and 3 recent bank deposits from work.

BUT, I was reading that because my interview is April 17th (2 days after Tax season ends), I am to have the latest tax receipts, 2008.

Is this correct??

Yes, that is correct.

I am filing an extension this year. So, I will send my wife the W2 and the receipt to show that the extension has been filed.

hahah thats what made me write that post I didn't know if it was for EVERYONE, or if perhaps that case was specific etc etc etc.

Ive already contacted finace and let him know.

The funny thing was we went to get his taxes done a month ago, but he needed more forms and we just kept putting it off. Figures, I just came back 2 days ago without them Now he has to fed ex them to me. YET ANOTHER EXPENSE

BUT, better to be save than sorry!!!!

I think that particular case is specific to that person. They had changes in their employment and they are now going to school.

In theory if the affidavit of support is sufficient when filed - it should be sufficient when adjudicated - unless - the CO thinks for some reason that it may not now be sufficient.

That said, who wants to get hung up for weeks waiting for them to review the 2008 return submitted after the interview.
