So it's been a long road since I last posted here. I don't know who is still here or not. Just to refresh everyones memory, I am in Columbus Ohio (soon to be Delaware Ohio) and married my husband Tarik in August. He is from Casablanca.

We had a lot of problems adjusting at first. It has been really hard. There was a moment when I thought everything was going to end. But thank GOD my mom came down to my apartment at this time and helped us. She talked some sense into me and since then... WOW. Everything has been great. Every day things get better and better. We got a new kitten a few months ago named Migalo (Tarik says that is the name of a cartoon cat in Morocco). We are moving to a bigger place closer to my family.Tarik got his work permit, and Green Card. :) Everything is just wonderful.

How is everyone?

Understandable. Glad things are working out great for you two and Congratulations on the new addition! :)

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Hey lady of course I remember ya! Funny thing is that I was thinking about you last night. You came to my mind and I thought I wonder what ever happened to ya! I was almost wondering if you had just changed your screen name or something and was still on here! Awesome news!!! I am so glad to hear that things are going better! I love good stories!

Leyla,

Welcome back!

Coincidence, my husband's name is Tarik also.

He arrived here in mid Nov of 2008. I think it is fair to say that there is an adjustment that comes once they get here.

I would say it has been hard for us also but it is getting better slowly.

Thanks for filling us in and good luck in your future together. Wishing you the best! :)

I think most of us underestimate just how hard that adjustment period can be.:whistle: Glad to hear things are going good, and nice to hear from you.
