Question about LingChe's NVC ShortCut

I'm preparing for the NVC journey since HOPEFULLY the NOA2 will come soon from USCIS. LingChe's guide seems like a great reference. I do have a question about one of the statements in that guide though....

All documents that pertain to the applicant’s petition are required, even if they were previously submitted to the CIS with the applicant’s petition.

Does that mean I should re-send the complete I-130 package to the NVC? Pictures, phone records and everything? Or am I misreading this and it means only the items the NVC actually asks for such as the marriage certificate?

Just the NVC documents. No need to send the I-30 package. Good luck!!

To me, I believe they are referring to Cert copies of Beth Cert, divorce decrees, death certs. maybe original receipts, phone records, I dont think its the I-130 , and pics . NVC does ask for the original marriage cert, or a certified copy.

HUM, something else to look into now, UGH!!!! Will let you know if I find out

All documents that pertain to the applicant’s petition are required, even if they were previously submitted to the CIS with the applicant’s petition.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

no need to submit proof of relationship to NVC. Please read LingChe's guide carefully and you will see the list of documents that you need to submit with the DS-230 form. Some of them include:

Marriage Cert, Divorce Decree(s), Birth Cert, Police Clearance Certs, copy of passport, etc.
