Preparing for The Interview

We're slowly creeping towards this stage.

He's an Aussie, so he should be going to the Sydney Consulate... right?

What sort of things should he bring to the interview? I mean, there's all the documents you need to turn in ahead of time, but what should he carry with? Photos, etc? I keep hearing about rude interview-givers, asking snarky questions and all. How bad is it usually?

I can't be there with him, since I just got a new job and can't take time off to fly overseas (yet). Will this be a bad thing?

Don't worry...my hubby couldn't be there with me either, not a problem. Yes, he will go to the Consulate in Sydney. Tell him to take evidence of a bonafide relationship...pics, emails, cards, whatever he has between the two of you. The adjudicator asked to see the pictures, that's about all. When we went for the AOS interview, he wanted to see EVERYTHING. Good luck to you and yours!
