Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

I shouldn't have created another thread..(I couldnt help it) but, I wanted to update everyone here too!

For those of you who chimed in, I just wanted to give you a quick update. My wife received her passport/visa this afternoon!!

Exactly two weeks from the interview date. The visa was approved on the 8th and we received it today. I blame the holiday weekend for the delay.

I don't know if they even utilized the co-sponsor info they "requested", at this point I don't care as long as she has her passport. She's set to be with us Sunday

You know how they say everything happens for a reason? Well it must be true for had this not have happened, I wouldn't have meet all of you fantastic people.

Thank you to everyone...may your journey be an interesting one

I'll be sure to visit the site frequently...I'm so excited!
