Fellow Pinays (or newbies like myself) around Glendale, LA or Burbank?

Hello there! :) I'm coming to the US by May 14 or 15 to be finally with my dearest love. I hope I can meet new friends there. We will be staying in Glendale, CA. My fiance is so considerate that he chose the place for me to start a new life with him as a married couple. He said it would be convenient place for me as we are near downtown also especially when he's at work. It would be easier to find jobs around too, but I hope I would find a nice job to start with but I know it's not going to be easy as what I heard around on VJ.

I hope I hear from anyone there as I have not found any yet on VJ who lives somewhere in Glendale or LA :-(. Still, I'm trying this :)

CA is the hardest hit. Been looking for a job in LA county since I came but still looking.
