hi there people,

1 copy of ds 156k filled up handwritten ( and 1 blank extra copy)

ques: can i fill up now the name of my fiance, my name and signature then the date using the date of my interview under the box ( do not write below this line)

2 copies of ds 157 filled up handwritten ( 1 validated from BDO) ( and will bring 2 balnk extra copies of ds 157)

2 copies of ds 156 filed up hand written ( will bring 2 blank extra copies of ds 156)

ques: since we moved our interview schedule, we filled up all ds using a date near to our original date of schdule wil it be fine?)

Whoa, don't do that, I just came upon a comment on USEM website that clearly states that typed or hand written DS156 will not be accepted, they request that these forms be filled out online and printed with inkjet or Lazer printer.

scroll down to DS156 to read about it.

Hope I caught you in time

I am #2 hehe she is #1, her plane just landed a short while ago and she is just now checking into the hotel.

I would not chance it with any of the documents, if they can be filled out online, I would do that because of the barcode it produces on the last page. If it does not produce a barcode, I would not worry about it.

Good luck to you as well

I filled out mine online. But i think they are not strict about it. During my day at the embassy, I noticed a few people who hand wrote them. And also there are a few people who forget to bring these forms. So, they were given blank forms for them to fill out.. :)

MY K1 EXPERIENCE blog...click on this link..

My K1 visa has already been approved. I had been really frustrated to find more info about K1 when we were still under the process. Some blogs have been useful. Now, that I completed the K1 process, I wish to share my own experience. So click on the link if you need more info about K1. The blog includes the requirements, med exams, questions on the interview, CFO and more. I hope that it will help. Thanks. Cheers and good luck.. :)
