translation accuracy

Hi all. I was wondering if anyone knew exactly how totally exact the information had to be for translations. In my case my husbands last name has a space in it normally but the translator neglected to include that and he also didn't include county in my address (Montgomery County, PA). Other than that everything is peachy keen. Should we correct these tiny little differences or just live with them?

Just live with it. Besides, how are they to know?? If they understood the foreign language, they wouldnt ask for the translation in the first place. They are relying on the statement of the translator as to being an accurate translation.

Even if the added space is what matches his main forms of ID? ex. real name: El Ha.... translated name: Elha....

Gosh, it's just so hard to get those forms right. It's funny because we try sooooooo hard. I helped my wife fill out the G-325 and I told her the wrong thing. I had to make a pen/ink change. The other day I was looking at my I-129F and in one place I spell Bangkok, TH. and then another I put Bankok, TH. I misspelled the city my wife lives in. It's not like I put the wrong date down for our marriage or anything, but I just can't believe I did that. I also forgot to sign my cover sheet on the I-129F. I hope they use some common sense when they are processing these forms and make the simple corrections. I have not been sent an RFE so....

Anyway....it's one of those things that happens. And if it happened to you, and to me, then it probably happens fairly often. I'm not gonna worry about it. I'll let you know if I get an RFE for my poor spelling, right after I go slap the person who sent it to me.
