nothing like that...once approved with I-130 is forwarded to the NVC, where it waits for your input.

and how long do i have to put my input in? ive seen some people put in their input at NVC for over a couple of months to days...

i actually am in the same predicament. my kids petitions are sitting at NVC now, we have not signed the choice of agent form yet and we have not paid the fees yet , im wondering if there is an expiry date for the noa 2 at nvc? or can it sit there for 6 months?

My step-daughter's NOA2 has been with NVC since Feb. last year. We did do the choice of agent, but that is all. You have a year. If you need more time, just contact the embassy and a year time is added from when you contact them. It will be over 1.5 years since we sent the choice of agent until we hopefully send the input to the NVC. Everything is still good with the NVC.
