I have seen people posting here that they sent any and got no problems.

I sent two affidavits, one from my husbands best friend, he knows my husband since they were 3 years old and one from my father in law. None of them were notarized but they typed and signed it, so....

But I have seen people here that sent none and didnt get RFE or anything. I believe its all a combination of the rest of your proof. If you got enough, you will be fine.

I hope this would not be my second screw up with my filing of I-751. I did not send any Affidavit with my I-751 package. How negatively could it affect my application to Remove condition?

We did not send any affidavits and got approved without any RFE's.

As long as you have lots of proof of a bona fide marriage, you don't need affidavits.

Good luck.

I did not submit any affidavits either but I think it would help if you don't have much evidence. The more, the better!Good luck!

Can always be lucky, instructions said two, we sent four, could have sent a hundred, but that doesn't help if the USCIS misplaces your application.

RFE means Request For Evidence

RFE also infers very long delays, something you really want to avoid.

So, I've researched quite a lot about the affidavits and, in the end, it seems like filing it really depends on an individual case.

I don't have that many documents showing our finances being done together as we preferred to do them separately, but I have plenty of photos, tickets, rent agreements, etc. with both of our signatures and the affidavits from people who can attest that we did go out with them as a happily married couple, seem to only support all the rest.

I think that having children together, taking loans, setting up joint bank accounts, etc. is a good enough proof, but at the same time, I think it's not such a big deal to ask a friend or two to write an affidavit. This is almost the end of the whole process, so after all the money, time and energy invested in it so far, why not do it right, even if we risk over-doing it?

Just my opinion.
