Questions about AOS for married and pregnant K-1 here in the USA. When my fiancee and I entered the USA about 3.5 weeks ago, we forgot to ask USCIS at the Airport for the work permit. We subsequently married and applied for Soc Security Card. Anybody know how to obtain the papers for her to work. I am in the process of sending in the application for AOS- and since she is 3 months pregnant and hence we declined the vaccinations during her medical, does anybody know if she can be exempted from vaccinations until after she gives birth? Thanks, Rick and Gina

Merci beaucoup pour tout les choses!

Ah, tell your husband that I said thank you. I will soon be a married woman as well. :)

I am very organized and I plan everything which doesn't usually match my expectations of the government and immigration. As you see in my timeline, we are planning a family blessing of our marriage in May. I originally wanted to be married this fall, but IMBRA sacked those plans.

I am sitting at work now. Extremely tired, because I couldn't sleep. My flight doesn't leave until 10 tonight. I will definitely be knocked out.

One last question. How long did it take for you to receive your visa after the interview. I know that sleepless took a month because of other reasons.

We will try to put something about the interview online. I couldn't find a single recent Paris experience on visajourney. So, I thank you for your reponse.

A bientot.

Hi Shayrene,

Get excited! You're on your way!

It took less than a week to get the passport w/ visa back. He's from the south so it added time, maybe a day. Don't forget to bring your prepaid postal envelope!

And yeah, I/we should put a Paris review in here. Those already here are dated and still hold true but an update would help people.

Sorry to hear your plans are trashed due to our friend IMBRA. Ours were, too - we wanted a beach wedding with his family here. Well November changed the beach idea and every year his parents drive through the Sahara for a few weeks this time of year (Niger this time but they were turned away at the border due to the increased political turmoil so they spent most of the time in Libya.). C'est la vie !

Safe trip, good luck & félicitations !
