Paulette - What email address did you use to contact the London Consulate???

we've now got an interview date for september 8th! :D:dance::D

congratulations!!!

Our re-approval was a week after yours. We are now waiting for Packet 4 from the London Embassy. Have you received your packet, and if not, how do you know of your Interview Date?

paulette

we've not physically received Packet 4 yet, but my fiance emailed the embassy with a change of address notification and they responded with the following:

"Thank you for the information you have furnished. An interview appointment has been scheduled on your behalf for September 8, 2006 at 10:00 am. Written notification of your appointment has been sent to your new address, as requested.

Thank you for your e-mail correspondence.

Consular Information Unit

U.S. Embassy London"

i'll take that as a big hint as to what information our Packet 4 contains. :)

I sure hope we have some results this week with getting approvals and interview dates.

Zethris - I hear that! Why have they sloooowed down?

Mike - I am very sorry to hear your news - I hope it will be a speedy review.

I really don't know. But I am getting really tired at all of these delays. It's starting to hurt my

heart.

Things just need to get going. It is lewd in the face of decency and personal freedoms with what

we have to go through now to live our lives.

Meh, nothing to see here.

Hey, Zethris

I had to wait for 3 weeks after getting the RFE update.

Your approval should come this week.

Good luck!

Thats what I hope, but it seems like nothing is happening much for anyone right now. I had hoped the trend of Friday would continue, but it doesn't sound like much is happening today.

It was rackamandy who emailed the London Consulate. I did not but I believe you will find the email address on the UK Embassy Web Site

I haven't posted here in ages, but I thought I'd pop in and see how everyone was doing. My fiance and I have decided to abandon our K-1 application; on Friday I recieved my visa to the UK, and I'll be moving there in October. I did eventually recieve my request for RFE for IMBRA towards the end of July, but by that time we were both just too fed up. We decided that life was too short, and fortunately we had the option of living in England to fall back on.

Good luck to all of you, and I hope you're all reunited with your loved ones soon. This is a great forum, and I got so much good advice and support here!

Well I think you might like the UK Eliza, it's really a great place. To be honest, if my fiancee was from there I might really consider going there over bringing her here myself.

Life is too short. I am glad you had that option, it is a great blessing I think to have that.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well ok then, I got a touch today finally. Thats good. at least it's something. Strange thing is, it didn't update until after 8pm. Do they work that late maybe? Dunno.

Meh, nothing to see here.

Well group, it looks like I am going to have to find another message board to go through this at.

It seems our fearless leader Mr. Ewok likes the trolls more than those of us just being good people who occasionaly have weak moments exploited by some real scum. (I get banned for 24 hours, but they don't)

I can't be here for that.

Good luck all.

I wish you all the best! You are so lucky - how quick is the UK visa system?! Now you can DCF while living there. Good for you!

Cheers!

I just got off the phone with Montreal - still no sign of my case there. :(

The lady I spoke to was really nice and she knew who I was without even asking for our case number. When I started off explaining that our petition was recalled, but was reapproved at the end of July, she interrupted me to ask my last name. Then she said they were just discussing my case. They'd even gone down to the mailroom to check if it had come in with yesterday's mail or if it was just sitting there, but nothing. She did encourage me to call back everyday until they get it though, so at least they're not sick of hearing from me every few days...

It's been three weeks since our paperwork supposedly left NVC for Montreal. It really shouldn't be taking this long... sigh.

Does anyone know what to do in this case?

I hope it gets to Montreal tomorrow, but if it doesn´t, is there any way to find out where the petition is?

My fiancé is in regular contact with his congressman's office and they're looking into it for us. He's also been trying to get through to the NVC, but the phone system is always busy (and hangs up) and they haven't answered his emails at all... and I'm keeping in touch with the Montreal consulate. We've even tried contacting the Vancouver consulate, in case it was accidentally sent there, but no response so far.

We're mostly hoping the congressman's office can come through for us.
