maybe it´s not the embassy´s fault afterall..

maybe it´s just taking longer for your petition to leave the NVC mailroom.

i think i might be in the same situation.

good luck!

Aha! So you agree with me now, rlt?

Wow!

abdcas is in interview today, mike1972 was yesterday!

rockamandy - congrats and may your interview be smooth sailing.

things are happening - good luck to all and keep us posted!

it is great to see that there isn't a long time gap between consulate receiving and interview. maybe they are giving recalls priority or maybe they are just caught up. i am hoping our interivew will occur when i am in france with him......

"You want proof of continued relationship and intent to marry?"

"Yes."

"Then open your door."

and there's me with a big smile on my face and a shotgun behind my back! (just in case we don't get approved  )

I hope the rest of us get our approvals at least by this next week.

hope

....

When can hope finally become reality? I am tired of just hoping.

It feels like I have been stuck in a tunnel trapped and waiting to be rescued so that I might be able to see my beloved once again. Hoping

and hoping for months of preparation, and months of waiting. Surviving off of rats and runnoff water for days and days on end. Having flashbacks of the happy times i have had and hope to have with my beloved and our eventuall children and grandchilren, wondering if the dream can still possibly come true. Hope becomes very old very fast after a while. It's time for something to finally start happening.

Congrats to those who finally have been found and are being pulled out of the collapsed coal mine of a mess that is the visa process.

Meh, nothing to see here.

congratulations!!!

Our re-approval was a week after yours. We are now waiting for Packet 4 from the London Embassy. Have you received your packet, and if not, how do you know of your Interview Date?

paulette

we've not physically received Packet 4 yet, but my fiance emailed the embassy with a change of address notification and they responded with the following:

"Thank you for the information you have furnished. An interview appointment has been scheduled on your behalf for September 8, 2006 at 10:00 am. Written notification of your appointment has been sent to your new address, as requested.

Thank you for your e-mail correspondence.

Consular Information Unit

U.S. Embassy London"

i'll take that as a big hint as to what information our Packet 4 contains. :)

Ciudad Juarez doesn't schedule interviews. They work with a walk-in system. When you're ready, you go have the interview. In Brazil, we have to wait for them to schedule an appointment, thus the waiting period for me.

Is this true? Can anyone verify this?
