Sleepless, you are not alone. Jose Cuervo and I are becoming very good friends - even on school nights!

I'm out of my mind seeing late May and early June approvals all around me - I cannot even imagine how you are feeling : (

So I'm back from vacation and in the office. I see everyone has been re-opened (special Boobie Prize to Milestogo for being the last one re-opened - I'll buy you a drink if you ever come to NYC!) My RFE is in the mail still, but I've actually gotten this whole fiasco to work to my advantage in that I can drag my stuff to New York in 2 trips instead of one and have more time to look for a job undistracted by trying to settle both of us in. Of course my fiance thinks I'm abandoning her a bit but - 6 weeks apart - that's peanuts compared to most of you on here.

Approved today!

I can finally shave again!

So we have a lot of reapprovals already. I didn´t get the reaffirmed update.

Just the regular "this case has been approved..." message.

I think Mew, rene and cndngirl got news from NVC.

Anyone else has more info about their case after the reapproval?

think they are moving faster with the recalled cases.

It took me 15 days for them to send my RFE after they reopened my case, and they are now doing it in 1 or 2 days.

I think that´s great and everyone should be reapproved in August.

Let´s not forget to post here once getting info from NVC as well.

:)

Good luck to all of us and thank you for all the support!

i called both the VSC and NVC today about how they are forwarding the petitions to the embassies. a woman at VSC told me that nothing in the process will change and that all the applications will be sent through the NVC (it could take up to 30 days, of course! big effin' surprise at that answer).

i then called the NVC and a woman there told me that they were just a sort of holding station for the petitions and had no idea what would happen and to call 'immigration'. i asked her if by 'immigration', she meant the VSC. she answered yes. she also had no record of my petition being there at the moment.

so i got nowhere with those uninformed toolbags. i guess i'll just have to wait and have my fiance ring the embassy (at something like £1.50/minute) to see if the petition arrives there anytime soon...

EDIT - i just read another thread that seems to confrim everything being sent through the NVC. i haven't been online much in the past week, so i totally missed it. disregard this comment! ;)

I bet your approval will come today!

They are much faster now..

I was thinking and maybe they have a timeline to finish processing the recalled cases in August.

That would be the best. All of us with our cases back to normal.

Let´s also hope they send it to NVC soon too!

:)
