What a quiet day.

I thought we would start seeing some action today.

It´s too damn quiet and it´s August, already.

Hoping for a better day tomorrow.

Anyone called VSC lately?

same here. it's our three-year anniversary today - was hoping for good news. :(

I think we got the same situation. almost the same date of filing and approval and same country Philippines. My fiance jst got a letter from Manila embassy 2 weeks ago saying my petition was sent back to St. Albans, till now I havent receive anythin, I mean nothin even that RFE.

Yes, they have to sent the petition back so they can reopen it and only then they'll send you an RFE. Good Lord, are they slow in the Philippines or what? When did they send your petition back?

Also, you may want to take a look at this: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=20652

I feel for you... Good luck!

Hey ReySunds, apparently all the recalled petitions from MNL were sent back from MNL on May 24, and they arrived at the NVC on May 29. So apparently MNL was not the slowest componet. Apparently, NVC did not send the MNL recalls back until about July 19, and cases at VSC started to re-open around July 27. One theory is that NVC stalled in returning tem so as to prevent a deluge of re-approved pets coming at them at one time. As per my congressman's immigration specialist, DOS and NVC are pissed at VSC.

I wonder why VSC is not reapproving anyone this week.

According to our theory, because they're helping CSC out?

Mew, Any insight as to why once the IMBRA RFEs are rec'd back at VSC, there are usually about 4 touches and about 15 days before re-affirmed?

That´s not actually true.

If you se the touches of the reapproved cases, you´ll see none of them match.

I think the key words here are "usually" and "about". No one knows for sure what these touches mean and I've seen a lot of timelines from people with cases in Vermont (recalled or not). Average time to approve RFEs is 15 days. Some were approved in 6, some in over 26 days. Same things for touches. Take Luis&Laura for example, the've been touched more than 4 times.

Mew,Thanks a lot!

Talked to USCIS, she said I will get a new expiration date, mine expires on 08/06. She said my case is still with the adjudicator most likely and will probably come within a week. The supervisor said all reaffirmed petitions will be sent directly to the consulate. Who knows?

My case was re-open on June 27 and never "touched" again (while I was sending letters and e-mails to everyone I could think about). Today, 37 days later, my case was re-open again?!?! I checked its status on-line. I have not received any e-mails from the VSC, though. Can anyone explain this? I am puzzled...

Dear piper, you got touched!!! Doesn't it feel good? Whenever the date changes on the main page after loging into the USCIS site but the status doesn't change, that's a touch. I think that's what happened. If so, congrats!
