Just so I keep you guys posted, my fiance got the IMBRA RFE through mail today. :) It got there pretty fast, considering the days off this week.
NOA2 IMBRA RFE'S ARE HERE!!!!!

My receipt date is March 14th, on NOA1. Ok.

I recieved the NOA2 march 30th.

MY IMBRA RFE CAME WAS IN THE MAIL TODAY!!

So, that means that either all NOA1's have been sent out and completed?? And now us NOA2'ers are finally up to bat.

Or, they are actually doing things randomly??

Im very happy tho right now!!!!! Im hoping this week and next week there will be a flood of NOA2, IMBRA RFE'S coming out. That would be very good.

First, congrats!

Second, considering other NOA2ers' situation, I think they're pretty much doing things in random order.

Third, oh gosh, I too hope RFE's start pouring this week and the next!

I just got mine in the mail!!!! After all my bellyaching, I guess it was about time. I am a March 6 NOA1, March 31 NOA2, recalled from Paris embassy sometime in May. Took about 5 seconds to fill that puppy out, and I'm off to the fedex it right now. sounds like good news, the recalls are finally gettin some action!!!!!

Look, your cases ARE way worse, but there are recalled cases out there complaining and being mad at people like me, when they have a similar timeline, except they were "lucky" to get approved much faster and got sent to their consulate. I am just saying it's not easy for ANYONE, and some people take it worse than others, and some here are waiting a long time but are seeing their SO's in the meantime, while others (like you and me) that won't see their SO again until this process is over. But the same way you get mad at me for saying those, there are people in worse situation than you are, who've been waiting for a NOA2 for 6 or more months.

again, as i did before, i apologize in advance and please don't take this personally (it is the internet afterall) but being in this situation is very didicult for all, as acknowledged by all. and i know we are here for exchanging information first, support second. but how this is being handled is hard to swallow and to read some posts in here make it even harder to swallow. there are times when silence is golden.

now on the bright side...... i am very happy to read the good news posts today. and i hope for all of us july is the month.

rlt - i am calling vsc mañana and my congressman - will post any info i get. is there anything specific you want asked?

cheers!

question

does anyone see any rhyme or reason to the noa2's rfe's? do we have a compiled list anywhere with our info?

i want as much info for my calls tomorrow. if not i will compile from timelines but are they updated with "reopened" and "rfe"?

thanks much

I was just thinking about that. I started to think that maybe the'll send RFE's for NOA2's based on some kind of date pattern? Just not sure which. Maybe we could put dates for our NOA1s, NOA2s, reopened-update?

I'll start...

Just made it back from returning the IMBRA form. Whew!!! What a relief. Just to give those of you other recalls anxiously waiting yours a little more perspective on timing:

NOA1 - Mar 6 ( Nebraska)

NOA2 - Mar 31 (Nebraska)

NVC sent file to Paris - Apr 12

Pkt 3 received by fiance Apr 24

Pkt 3 returned to embassy May 5

June 16/17 - emails from CRIS-USCIS, petition "received" (apparently by California)

June 20 - online update and emails case "reopened"

June 24 - received 2 snail mail I-797 Notices of Action from CSC, case received, case reopened

June 26/27 - emails RFE sent June 26

June 30 - email from CSC customer service responding to my email to them, confirming RFE sent June 26

July 5 -touched

July 5 - received IMBRA RFE (postmark June 30, even though 3 emails and online status update said it was sent June 26, note: the blue RFE Notice has a notice date of June 26)

I just got back from sending the form back to CSC overnight. I received three pieces of paper, the blue Notice of Action, with instructions to put it on top of the requested information; a white sheet titled, Supplement to I 129F, OMB Control No. 1615-0001; and a second white sheet wtih the three IMBRA questions. The blue NOA sheet has the barcode and original NOA1 receipt number in the lower right hand corner. and the two white sheets have that number written by hand in the upper left hand corner of each. There was also an envelope enclosed addressed to Dept. of Homeland Security, with a different P.O. box than the one on the blue sheet that it says to send the info to. This was a white envelope printed in red ink, and it had a special RFE notation at the bottom. So, I put the blue form on top of the white Question form, that I only checked "No" on #1, left the other 2 questions blank, into the provided envelope, and then sent that overnight to the physical street address:

California Service Center

I wonder why VSC's RFE is so plain compared to the other service centers. I hope it's not another screw up.

What do you mean plain? The procedure or the actual document. The VSC IMBRA RFE is 3 pages on blue paper. If needed ill transcribe it verbatim for anyone who needs any info on it now.

Good Idea. You said that you know of 3 NOA2'ers who have recieved the IMBRA RFE? Im dying to see their NOA1 receipt dates. Mine was March 14th. Looking at the 3 dates we may be able to figure out if their is any rhyme or reason here now.
