You must remember that there are different offices and people working at different parts of the process, so the fact there are adjudicators working on cases already with an RFE, doesn't mean there's no one looking at new RFEs and working on the recalled cases, I am sure they're doing all together.

apologies in advance for this but i don't have to must anything. the facts i have indicate to me that no one is working on my case - 2 weeks have passed since it was reopened. rlt has been 2 weeks as well. many recalled cases are still not even reopened. so seeing cases approved is pouring salt into the wound. if i sound like a b*tch it's because i am! time for round 38 of phone calls! I am right there with ya. It has been about two weeks since my case was reopened, and to see people getting approved with NOA1 dates in June is sickening at the least. Most people that can't understand why we are so worked up and stressed about this is due to the fact they are not in our position. My fiancee as well as many others, would have had their interview by now and would be here with us now, but due to incompetence, we have no idea when that will happen.

I know it sucks, I have lost patience at this point, at least now I know they have my petition, no "reopened" notice yet.

This debacle has become very annoying and it's hard to take comfort when it seems likely NOA1ers are going before us. I'm praying that July is the month for the NOA2s.............we will see.

Just eternally pissed until this is over!

I am along for this ride as well. I think everyone has been pretty calm up until now, but it's now July and my fiancee was supposed to have her interview on May 25! I understand it doesn't help anything to be upset, but when people in May and June are getting approved, that just breaks the straw! The least they could do is get our RFE's sent out. But instead they continue to work ahead, while leaving us recalled cases in the distant past.

Hey, I may not be a recalled one, but I'm also prior to June and it's also hard to see them getting approved, but it has always been like this, people getting approved when it should be others. My guess is that for us all (recalled or not) this way is way too long but in USCIS history they're moving pretty fast for the big mess they did.

I agree with americanwoman.

Sorry Luis&Laura, but I think your situation is very different.

We are not all just waiting. We had our interviews cancelled!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And no, USCIS is not working fast.

And yes, your case is better, because they sent you the RFE.

It´s been 2 weeks since my case was reopened. No one can tell me I should be happy because they are working on my case. They are not!!

Sorry Mike, Americanwoman, etc. They are not working on our cases. There´s nothing there for them to do!

They just need to send the RFE, but they are not doing it. Chances they will send it in july are just the same as chances it will be in August.

I think we are not even one of the 10.000 petitions on hold waiting for a RFE.

They are clearing up the mess, yes. But we are not even part of the mess. We are in another group.

They are worried about the backlog, So they are approving people and moving with cases they will be receiving.

Ours will be there, and one day they will touch it. But it´s obvious they are not in a hurry.

Puting recalled cases aside and working on the rest is what they are doing now. And the volume of paper in their desk is definitely getting smaller.

I beg to one of you petitioners to call VSC and ask why it´s been 2 weeks from case reopened to NOTHING.

Luis&Laura, don´t be mad at me. I´m not saying I miss my fiancée more than you miss yours. I´m just showing to you our situation is much worse.

Look, your cases ARE way worse, but there are recalled cases out there complaining and being mad at people like me, when they have a similar timeline, except they were "lucky" to get approved much faster and got sent to their consulate. I am just saying it's not easy for ANYONE, and some people take it worse than others, and some here are waiting a long time but are seeing their SO's in the meantime, while others (like you and me) that won't see their SO again until this process is over. But the same way you get mad at me for saying those, there are people in worse situation than you are, who've been waiting for a NOA2 for 6 or more months.

Well, I guess no one was trying to compete to get to see which of us is in more pain. It's not *our* fault - petitioners' or beneficiaries' - that the service centers don't know how to handle the IMBRA mess. We are all stressed out though, and it's understandable that we would feel we have been put in an unfair situation... But, guys, we should try and be supportive of each other...

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

Mew,

I agree, I think all of us need to stick together, whatever status we are in. Sometimes it's difficult when we can't see it on someone else's personal level or realize this is a forum to share info before anything else.

I'm still pissed though, but not at anyone here. I will focus my aggression on the respsonsible parties.

No lawyer, no RFE, no change in my online status since April 11....

mmmmm tequila (it seems to be catching on in Moscow). Then scotch, and today how about Bourbon? At least I have some of that. Last time I went to Russia I took two fifths of Basil Hayden's, a fifth of Booker's, a fifth of Baker's, and a 1.75 liter bottle of Knob Creek. It has all been consumed and enjoyed now by a number of Russians...

It's hard to keep a level head when it looks like things are being handled so patently unfairly. As a March 6 NOA 1 person I can't help but be pretty darn peeved that hundreds of others are waltzing to the front of the line. But I do realize it's not their fault and harbor no ill will towards them. If the mailman doesn't deliver the dayum RFE today, I'm the one who may be going postal. I did get touched today, which was a surprise, but there was no case update. Of course not, what's to update if they won't actually send the dang thing like they said they did!!!! And some people have even been sent multiple copies of the friggin thing - #######????:(:crying::protest::protest::protest:

NOA2 IMBRA RFE'S ARE HERE!!!!!

My receipt date is March 14th, on NOA1. Ok.

I recieved the NOA2 march 30th.

MY IMBRA RFE CAME WAS IN THE MAIL TODAY!!

So, that means that either all NOA1's have been sent out and completed?? And now us NOA2'ers are finally up to bat.

Or, they are actually doing things randomly??

Im very happy tho right now!!!!! Im hoping this week and next week there will be a flood of NOA2, IMBRA RFE'S coming out. That would be very good.

Just so I keep you guys posted, my fiance got the IMBRA RFE through mail today. :) It got there pretty fast, considering the days off this week.

First, congrats!

Second, considering other NOA2ers' situation, I think they're pretty much doing things in random order.

Third, oh gosh, I too hope RFE's start pouring this week and the next!

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.
