I´m scared it´s the "or what" option.

I´m tired of seeing the date change and eagerly check for a status change and nothing. My case must have been overly looked at by now, why won´t they approve the damn thing?

Still, it's better to be touched than not to be touched at all. I know we don't know what all these touches actually mean, but you know one thing for sure: they're looking at your case and working on it. Your case is not just lying there... Let's stay positive.

We got our notice of RFE today:

On July 3, 2006, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what is required, or if 30 days have passed and you have not received the notice. Please contact the service center where you submitted your application during business hours.

Yeah this is great news! I am in the same boat as rlt. My case was reopened on June 22nd, and one touch on the 24th, but nothing since then...

My boat is even behind yours... I haven´t been touched.

I clicked on the link Yodrak posted and got worried, since I have an attorney on my case:

"Most attorneys set up and index their files by client NAME. A problem

has come up in the batch IMBRA K-1 RFE's sent to attorneys -- the RFE's

contain the Service Center number and the "A" number. However, they do

NOT have the names of the Petitioner or Beneficiary! On the attorney

chat boards this is a problem that has developed of late. "

Might that be the reason for no RFE?

YOu guys with the case reopened but no RFE have an attorney as well?

I think my RFE is on a slow boat sent up the west coast from So Cali to Oregon. How long can it take? # emails saying the RFE was sent on June 26th. Haven't seen it yet. Previousl snail mail from CSC was 3 days. I'm a recall, NOA1 Mar 6, NOA2 Mar, 31, case reopened June 16, no lawyer / I saw a post on adifferent thread earlier today saying he received email saying RFE sent out by CSC June 23, but the actual postmark was June 29. Ohh la la. Give me another margarita and I'm going to try to forget about this til Wednesday.
