RECALLED PETITION - UPDATE

People deal with their frustration in different ways.

I could easily say this is a recalled petitioners thread and no one with only NOA1 knows how we feel.

But the truth is, no one knows how to be in other´s situation.

Yes, the process is the same, but our lives aren´t.

So if we feel better speculating and calling USCIS it´s only fair that we have the right to do so.

Do they working on sundays?

Do they work tomorrow even if tuesday is a holiday?

Hello people.

I have my Congressman Simmons' office working on my case. They have emailded me back and forth 5 times already about the status of my case. After contacting the USCIS the Simmons' personel coordinator told me the truth is my Petition is yet to arrive in Vermont, even though it was mailed back June 2nd accordint to the Manlia Embassy. She also said that She is going to track down my Petition and do what she can do to maybe expedite the process after the USCIS and the VSC are done with the reprocessing in Manila.

I hope this will be a busy week in VSC, with news for all of us recalled people.

The Public Notice saying the RFEs would be sent immediately is dated from June 13th.

This week will be 2 weeks since they reopened my case and nou touches or RFE after that.

I know they do a lot of things there but this should be an emergency.

By the way, I´m having the worst day since this whole thing happened.

Nobody knows where mine is.

I feel your pain though.

Lets all hope things start to move

I know they have my case. Doesn´t seem like they are working on it, though.

Just wait for your update and then for 2 more weeks without any news... it brings you down again.

Hope it doesn´t happen to you, though. Maybe they will get all figured this week and we´ll all get the RFEs.

:)

I hope it makes you feel better that 10 days ago, my fiance called VSC and was told they didn't have the slightest idea as to when RFE's would be sent to recalled petitioners. 10 days later, I got the update telling me a request for aditional info is on its way. They have started working on NOA2 cases - many of us have gotten the "back and reopened" updates and that's a very good sign. An even better sign is that at least one of us will get an RFE this week.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

Damn! I just got a touch on a Sunday, I thought I had too much tequila. My case status did not change though, it is still "under review".

That´s great news.

That means they will be working on monday as well. Even with the big holiday on tuesday.

I think I´ll call them tomorrow.

Yeah, sorry you're down, I wish I could do more. These are good people here. I know July will be filled with positive action.

Thanks.

I am very depressed. Had the worst weekend, and I´m in that place where I don´t see things happening.

Hey, c'mon, we have a good month of action to look forward too, and the weekend is pretty much done now. Things are happening, I'm going nuts myself, the only thing keeping me going is thinking of the future and chatting with my fiancee. These challenges will make your relationship even stronger in the long run.

I look forward to hearing good news this week for us all.

We got a touch too... no change in status either, but nice to know they're looking at the case, I suppose.

I was shocked to also get a touch today - working on a Sunday. I guess someone finally lit a match under their @sses..................or there just sick of us calling them.

Easier said than done, everyone just needs to keep in mind that only four weeks ago we were completely in the dark and nothing was happening. At least now we have people getting updates, touches and even one RFE that we know of (and probably others that don't post here). The process is finally starting to move again, albeit slower than we would all like, but at least they appear to be working. Things could be a lot worse..............like just four weeks ago.

Stay positive and when you least expect it, something good usually happens.

All this waiting has really been wearing on me too. I had a very bad day on Sat. Found myself with a case of "IMBRA caused Tourettes Syndrome" while Chopping Firewood all day. The thing that really bothers me is.... On The RFE, I Still Don't Know What Im Going To Put Down For Question #1!!!!!!

Oh my head hurts
