visa fee online

I have paid my 400.00 visa fee and rcvd from the NVC a receipt showing that it has been paid. I also noted that the money has cleared my bank account. No I am rcvg a new visa bill daily and the note on the account is marked as unpaid. what's up??? Has anyone else had this issue?

Sometimes their automatic system isn't updated on a timely schedule.

There are some people here that are married, have 3 kids, and their K-1 status still says processing after 3 years.

Have you paid both fees? Have you printed the receipts, cover pages, instructions, and the DS-230 from the online payment center? Others have reported that the payment page shows unpaid, but the receipt page shows paid. You can call and ask an operator to be sure. Good luck, Mike & Yizhen

We have the same problem, our case can't be completed until they fix this problem, we sent them everything and the coversheet that shows the fee as paid but they told us to wait 15 working days until they update the system they sent us 2 emails to pay the fee and 1 RFE where they state that they have received all the documents related to ds230 but they are still waiting for the paiement

hope tomorrow or tuesday they will finally complete our case and give us an appointement date

i personally havent had this happen to me yet, but was reading a thread where this is happening to MANY...try looking on your receipt page and see what it says...

yes I have paid both fees and they have both cleared my checking account. The first one still indicated paid and the 2nd one did too until the other day and it changed. i have read this HAS been happening to many...you obviously printed the barcoded cover sheets off of the receipt page...which would indicate all is good...either go back to the RECEIPT page and check there or CALL NVC in the morning...i dont think this "clitch" with their on-line system is anything to lose sleep over...good luck

Sound like you paid the fee $400.00 before DS230 generated it. It happen to me, you have to call NVC to clear that out. I got delay 3 business days. Good luck.

Ill call them tomorrow....I am finding that if I call closer to closing time, I get through faster. My husband is getting his documents to me for the DS230 so we have a little time before i send it all in. Thankyou everyone

Sound like you paid the fee $400.00 before DS230 generated it. It happen to me, you have to call NVC to clear that out. I got delay 3 business days. Good luck.

it's hard to pay the fee before it's generated...sounds like the OP stated they paid a IV bill that was generated and now is being asked to pay it again (common glitch that many are experiencing)....

yes you can pay by mail of course. I think it will take longer that way. Everything is being converted to online access it sounds like. It sounds like a minor thing that will fix itself in a short time. I am not too concerned now and will call them tonight.
