My divorce has been filed and I am wondering if I have to wait until I get the actual decree or can I send in the I-129F and g-325 ahead and then send my decree in afterwards? Also I am on the list for housing at Ft. Bragg but don't have a house yet, so can I go ahead and send it it even though I don't have an address and just send that info with her forms?

Plain and simple: NO You MUST be LEGALLY divorced in order to file with USCIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No exceptions. Dont take cany chances of filing cause if you do this dis-honestly, it will catch up to you and you new love, and final result will not be good. Please just wait.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

You can send in your I129 but if you marked on the form that you are divorced, they'll definately will want to see that divorce decree at some point. You'll get an RFE asking for it. I would not recomend sending it in until you get it. You'll risk not getting it on time and risk the case being cancelled and losing that $455. As for your housing situation, I don't think that it matters as long as they have an address to send you communication such as an RFE or NOA. If your address changes while the petition is ongoing, you can call them to have it updated.

Wrong You MUST be divorced at the time of filing. You can't get away with sending it later. When they get it they will see it is after the date you filed then deny the petition and keep your money.

Please don't give WRONG information that could jeopardize someones chances of receiving a visa...you may feel good about trying to make someone FEEL better but in the END you could cause BIG PROBLEMS FOR THE OP :crying: if they listen to your incorrect information :bonk:
