Hi all,

I have my interview on April 2 in Lima, Peru. My husband and I have yet to receive any documents from the embassy. Is this normal? I read there was a packet 3 and a packet 4. So I am really concerned that we have not received anything and there is only a few days until the interview.

Can someone tell me if this is normal and I am freaking out for nothing? Or am I in trouble?

2009-04-02 : Interview at Embassy in Lima, Peru Approved

2009-04-08 : POE Atlanta (256 days from sending I-130)

USCIS *Removal of Conditions*

2011-02-28 : Mailed I-751

2011-03-02 : USPS Delivery Confirmation

2011-03-10 : Check Cashed

2011-03-11 : Touched

2011-03-25 : USCIS confirmed they did not mail NOA 1, given case number

Perhaps you should call the embassy and or NVC and see what they have to say about that. If you need tham and they dont show up you are going to have to work it out with them. You dont want this whole thing to be for naught

I plan on calling them today but was wondering if anyone has had the same experience.

If you are just doing the I-130, all you seem to be missing is the interview letter. Does your embassy have an email address? If so email them and ask them to email you a copy of the interview letter. If there are any documents they are requesting it will be in the interview packet. You can also have your spouse email or fax you a copy of th interview letter he recieved. Good luck. Don't panic, it will be okay. :star:
