Juarez Medical

Hello,

We'll go to Juarez this coming Friday for the medical on Monday and interview on Tuesday. I called the consulate and they said our papers were sent, but of course we haven't got them yet. So, reading the instructions online, it says we'll need the invitation letter to attend the medical interview. Should we go to the consulate in the morning before the medical and request the invitation? If so, do we wait with the other interview people at the consulate or is there another line?

Thanks,

Marty

They won't let you in the embassy or the medical building unless you have packet 3 which will come in the mail to the USC's address.

I had read elsewhere you can enter the consulate, and they will print the invitation letter for you. But from your statement, I take it you can't. I know others have gone to Juarez without the packet and only instructed to gather the forms online that were needed.

Hey!

I am back from Juarez with Visa in hand (I just flew in 30 MIN. ago!) You can go and get them to print it out for you at the information line!! You need to take an ID with the case number on NVC letter!!!! There is no more package for Juarez just a letter with a link which will send to were all the forms are!

PS: medical is easy you really don't have to go so early!! But you will have to wait in a very long line to get the letter, but don't worry I showed up for the Medical at 10:00 juarez time!!!

Hi girl! Congratulations again for your visa. I would like to know how many days you had to wait to actually have the visa in your hands. I should start planning my trip to Juarez and need to tell my boss how many days I'll be out.

Thanks!!!!!

Hi,

So I take it we will have to be at the consulate on Monday morning to wait in the information line and request them to print the invitation letter. Can me and my fiance both wait in the information line or does only my fiance (as is the case for the interview)? As a side note, it's probably not possible to go to the information line on Saturday, is it?

Thanks,

Martin

Is there ever a time that is too late to go for the medical. My fiance and I will be there on Monday, but my flight doesn't get in until 1140 AM.

Go to this link and click the link to Medical Exam Instructions. It says that visa applicants are accepted from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday through Friday. I hate to give you bad news, but it looks like you will be too late on Monday.
