Any recalls of K-1 visas after interview

My fiancee has her interview on Monday. My useless lawyer phones me today to mention IMBRA. Has anyone gone to their interview to have IMBRA invoked at that point or is it typically invoked BEFORE it reaches the foreign embassy???

According to your timeline, you had the NOA1 long before the IMBRA cutoff. It won't be a factor for you.

If they´re still going by NOA1 date you shouldn´t be affected, why don´t you give a call to the embassy to confirm your appointment?

Thanks for the replies. My fiancee is in Turkey today and yes her interview is still scheduled for Monday. My heart STOPPED when my lawyer called. She hasn't had a clue up till this point and doesn't know nearly as much a the people on this forum. I pray that the NOA1 date saves me.

Can someone point me to the thread where IMBRA and NOAs are discussed?
