I agree! I've never heard of this site, so I'm not much help but I usually begin looking at tickets 5 months in advance and keep track of the ups and downs and then when it gets its lowest-i buy it. I bought my ticket from the airline provider 3 months ahead at the cheapest I've bought it!

Plus, if you have to cancel, or modify a flight it is so much easier to deal directly with the airline with just a phonecall. No middleman to complicate or interfere in the matter

I've never gotten a better deal directly through the airlines. We are going to Vienna in June and tickets directly through the airlines are $1600 EACH which is $3200 for both of us.

However, asaptickets.com has them for $790, all taxes and fees included, each which comes to about $1600 for both of us. Half price is so much better.

THere are many variables in booking a flight, like day of travel, time of day, length of layovers, and advanced booking of flight that all factor in to give you a final price. Booking directly with the airline Cathay Pacific, always gives me the best deal, and I dont have to make a patchwork quilt of flights and middlemen, just 4 mouse clicks and my flight is booked. I'm glad you found a great deal thru a third party. If you can do that fine. Smart people will compare airline to online travel agent. THat is called being a smart consumer. Congratz on finding a great deal.

I just checked Deltas website for equal tickets from this site, Delta equal or less with more direct flights.

I fly to and from Brasil all the time, always looking for cheaper tickets.
