My conditional green card says it is going to be expired on 11/27/2009.

Can anybody tell me exact date when can i file I-751 and N-400?

You can file your I-751 within 90 days before your 2 yrs green card expires plus for N-400 you can file after 6 months when you get ur 10 yrs green card

Right on the I-751 but not on the N-400. You're eligible for naturalization through marriage 90 days before your 3rd anniversary as a permanent resident.

Cookiee, in putting those dates up did you take into consideration that 90 days is not exactly equal to 3 months?

Hi Agnar! Hope you guys are doing great, we're fine here.

Exactly 30 days before your green card expires is August 28, so that is the first day you are eligible to send in your I-751 Removing Conditions application. That's a Saturday so I would suggest sending it in the next Monday or Tuesday - meaning Sept 1, 2009. Lately we have heard of people's applications arriving a day early and being sent back and not accepted, so better to be careful and not send it too early!

We are busily gathering paperwork already for our application, which we have to send in the end of June. Every Sunday I've been spending 1-2 hours on it, so start early with the preparation and be thorough!
