Text messages for evidence

I'm in process of compiling evidence for our Manila embassy interview. I have text messages on an old cel phone and can't find a way to download them to a computer. If I took pictures of the phone's screen showing each text message and then printed everything out, do you think this would be acceptable evidence? I'd just bring the phone, but it looks like they are not allowed.

i used text messages too as evidence but i typed it in microsoft word coz i cant download it or whatever...thats it.

i am going to use that as an evidence too...

what i did is i transfer it through my nokia pc suite and it will show all messages and then i print screen and save....

in my nokia pc suite will show all my txtlogs and dates as to when i recieved it....

I used Nokia PC Suite too in printing out my text messages.

I guess I can try to do this also. I have a nokia 6610 and I'll have to buy a USB data cable. Do you by chance know if you can connect using infrared instead of the cable? Does the Nokia PC suite allow connection via infrared?

I can't remember if Nokia PC Suite supports infrared but i know for sure that you have to attach infrared device to you PC if you want to transfer your text messages from your cellphone to your PC via infrared. I still suggest using USB Data Cable as it makes the transfer of files faster than bluetooth or infrared Edited March 29, 2009 by o0pink0o

I bought an infrared adapter for my PC and was able to connect to my phone without problems. Now I only wish I discovered this sooner...

I used text messages as an evidence of our relationship but it wasn't asked by the CO or the pre-screener from me. I used Nokia PC Suite Software as my cellphone was Nokia. Anyways, what can that software show to you is the sender's contact number, sender's message and the date and time the message was sent and no it can't be fake that easily.

I'll scan a sample of it tommorow. I can't do it now as it is already 2:03AM and I am sleepy *yawn* hehe.

If you'll run the Nokia PC Suite into your computer to see your cellphone's inbox this is what will appear on your screen.

You can not edit the message that was sent to you on this screen. The picture below is what will pop up on your screen if you'll click one of the messages that was sent to you. In this part, you can edit the message that was sent to you.

To prove that we constantly contact each other, I print out the summary of text messages i got (like the first pic above) and some of the text messages itself (like the 2nd pic above) for them to read. Sorry for the late post of this as I was busy this past few days.
