whew. you have alot going on. you said a mouthful. ok.

you are already saying you have to file a waiver, you dont want your husbands family your business and you are considering a 3rd country. what a mix of AR/AP HELL for you. here is why 1st.. you are working with the embassy in Lebanon. its a muslim nation. this country is a T26 country. your delay will be Extemely long if you use a 3rd country. btw, here is a list of the T27 countries:

Afghanistan, Algeria, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.

those coming from those above countries are subject to what is called AR/AP admin reivew and admin processing< endless waiting > . dont be surprised if the embassy decided to later on in the process - to visit his family. trust me they can do this. the embassy visited my husbands family 2 times.

you are adding to the mix needing a waiver. you will have to file the waiver AFTER your interview if you need one. my advise to you is..

1.. file the I-130 < CR1 >

2., when you get reciept of the I-130

3.. YOU- proceed with the I-129F forms.< K-3 >

follow ALL steps because you are dealing with a muslim nation.

there could be a long delay in approval of I-130. if that is the case or not

you need to follow though with I-129f. unless the I-30 makes it to the embassy first.

now back to your husbands family..

you talk about you want them out your business guess what.

you need them!! its to your advantage and husband advantage if

he has supportive letters and cards from your family and you have letters from his family. if the USICS decide to interview YOU < USC>

and it can be done. it happend to me too. you have proof your family is accepting of you. and yours is accepting of him. - understand.

so what if you use a 3rd country?..

is like in your case. opening a can of AR/AP on your head.

AR can take 19 days to ENDLESS days.

you dont want that. I know people on AR over 2 years!!!

let that not be YOU.

stick with one country dont add to your wait time.

Hello and Shonjaved is quiet right if you mix a third country your putting yourself in for a long AR/AP wait. You need to file and proceed without adding any more countries. Most men coming from Asia/ME/Muslim countries take longer to get into the USA. They have AR and or AP or both once you are interviewed. You really need supportive family during this process because the embassy can come to home and make sure the marriage is valid and ask if the family accepts the USC spouse. We had a field investigation as well. We have been on AP since Dec 12, 2005. I will say get your paperwork in order and if you can stay together that is great. If not you need to pray for patience and understanding during this process. Good luck.

I am sorry I cannot offer any more advice. But I do know if you change processing with countries it can mean a very long delay and AR since one girl from Islamabad they changed countries and it has taken them close to year and half to finally complete their processing.

Secondly, you have no timeline and did not say you were married already and that he was in deportation proceedings. So the other poster and myself thought you were engaged.

Please update your timeline and maybe someone can advise you better. Take care and keep strong.

You don't have to file a fiance Visa. The I-130 is for marriage and usually takes about 2-3 months for the process from there. Or at least it used to take about to months. It is actually quicker to file from there. If you think his family is interfering too much, have him talk to them. I get the impression from you that they are reasonable people and they will understand. I am sure he knows how to deal with his family. It might be better if you guys can afford to get your own place. Dealing with another country will only cause you more problems.

Why don't you spend this time preparing your letter of hardship. Keep your self busy. lebanon is a beautiful place with a lot of places to go. Have him take you out. There are beautiful places by the water. If you keep stressing about this stuff, it will drive you crazy.

yes it sayes for fiancee but. its NOT jsut for fiancee. I think really since you have deportation proceeding issues, marriage... whole lot of drama.. you need to seek the advise of an attorney. good luck

First make sure you have all the papers you need and your application fee with you. Check and make sure you have everything filled out correctly. You are going to go in and give them the papers. They will look over them and most likely ( or at least that is the norm) tell you that they will call you for an appointment. If you ask them about how long that will be, you are going to get different answers from different people. Honestly, the time it will take varies. They might or might not take fingure prints that day. Make sure you have that fee also, incase they do. Just keep this in mind, the embassy in lebanon is better then most. You shouldn't wait there that long.

Your filling from lebanon. You probably won't need the I-129f. That for is for your husband to come to the US and wait with you while his file is being processed.

Once you drop off the papers, Get the I-601 and I-212 Forms filled out and ready. Wright your Hardship letter and get your proof together. Once you have the interview, they will tell you that you need to fill out these forms. You can hand them at that time the Waivers with all the evidence. These will be sent to Athens. (I'm still waiting on mine to be sent. It has been over 2 weeks) Athens Sorry to say drags its feet. This whole process will probably take about one year and 3 months to a year and half.

So it is impossible for the k3 to be approved for dh because he was removed and needs a waiver?? i wish we could just go back to the us while all of this is processed...........none of the people at the embassy speak very good english that i have had expirence with so far, and i dont speak arabic so i struggle a little, because i dont want dh to do all the talking and for them to think this is all for him............he had been fingerprinted while he was in the states, he has to do it again i guess.........is there a form for that? do we have to file both the 212 and 601?? we are willing to do anything and i am really hoping it doesnt take too awful long. i have a son from a previous marriege and his dad wnt let him come to be with me..........i miss him and i cant be away frm him for so long.......with all the fees we are paying for uscis it is impossible for me to travel back and forth right now..............will they take into consideration that i am here with him?? i am on a mult entry visa and since we didnt register the marriege at the leb con in ny we have to get it signed by the foriegn minister and sent there before i can apply for residency here..........yikes lol...........this is all so much. the change of everything and all this pressure. dh and i are together i understand that is important but i miss the states and my family :( thank you again

I'm sorry to say that there is a very slim chance to no chance that he will be approved. We Fiance was given voluntary departure 6 years ago. They where ready to give the visa, but once they saw that, they gave the forms and told them that when they are ready to call them for an appointment to turn them in.

Your child being in the US is a main thing you will have to put in the hardship letter. I don't know what the effect of you being in lebanon will have on your case. Read the example of other Hardship letters before you wright yours.

There english isn't great but you can still communicate. Speak Slow and if they don't understand something, have your husband translate to them. In the interview, the Officer will be American. I assume your husband speaks english and you won't need a translator so you should be able communicate fine. please Ask if you have any questions.

I am not sure where they will process the papers. I think they process them at the embassy.

You have to apply and interview before you can apply for the Waiver. There has to be case pending. They will tell you what you need to do as each step comes. They will not tell you in advance. You might want to consult with an attorney.

Are you planning on staying there with him during the process? If so I think you can apply as living in lebanon. That process is usually faster.

The medical report of what effect physically and mentally this has caused is another thing you can put for the waiver. Are you guys registered as married in Lebanon.

And feel free to ask all the questions you have.

We will be registerd as married here soon. we have to take our marriage certificate to the foriegn minister and have it sent to ny.......then we get it back and i can file for my residency........so the medical report can be from any licensed phys? i want to stay here with him. he is my everything.......my family means a great deal to me and i want my son here but the law wont let him come...................he did have a lawyer when we were in the states and she wants 600 just to write the hardship letter.......plus the fees to send it and all that......the other lawyers i have talked to want thousands of dollars just to look at the case.......with all the money we are going to put into this we will be broke before we come back to the us........is it okay for him to work here or will that delay things because he is making money???....thank you!!
