Namaste Raj ra Monica...

Congrats on finally getting through NVC! I just wanted to let you know that our package 3 got lost in Kathmandu despite having a GPO box and asking them to use it for package 3. They tried to send it to my (now) husband's street address and it wandered around Manamaiju for a while (we found out later it went to our son's school, and then the VDC office, and then it disappeared  ).

Anyhow, if you don't get package 3 soon, you might consider sending your fiancee to the Consulate to pick one up. And be prepared for an interview relatively quickly after that.

Subha kamana!

Maya

My case was approved 2 march 09, hard copy recieved 9 march 09, and still (now 58 days) we still don't have nvc case number. Online status on uscis web site shows pending. NVC tell to wait up to 90 days. USCIS say that they approved. I don't know what to do now. Give me an advise what to do...

Do you think that writing to your senator helped you?

Paladin, it took our 5 weeks to get file from USCIS to NVC.. it was about time for us.. I have written to Texas US senator their people called me within days and told me they going to give a call to NVC......so I dont know..that made diff..in your case already 58 days..too long..I have also wriiten to NVC and attached NOA2 hard copy....so I suggest to you write to both of them..won't cost anything.. I hope you get approval soon..bye the way my finacee will have interview on May 4th /2009. good luck to you.

Today i finally recieved some good news from USCIS I hope

I was told that my notice that our petition had been sent to NVC was mailed. This is after countless call since ou March 12 approval. When we were told it was already forwarded and it was in the NVC's court to recieve it. On april 30 I noticed a touch by USCIS which obviously means it was still there. This gave me solid footing on todays inquiry.Hope it arrives soon we originally filed August 5 2008.

Thanks for all your input

I pray everyone elses Visas move along more quickly than ours there are way to many breakdowns in this system

my question is:

1. will we recieve a EMAIL stating NVC has recieved our case? (or will we just wait for a snail mail?)

2. will the CASE STATUS ONLINE at the uscis show NVC has recieved our case? :innocent:
